Sorry to butt inn again this afternoon!
If you are on a fixed utility tariff, ignore the advice from multi-millionaire influencers and the media to cancel your direct debit! Doing this will cancel your fixed tariff and you will pay more!
If you are on the SVR, you will still get it slightly cheaper if you are on a DD, but prepare Now to pay more.
Do not leave it until the last minute to do you assessment and budget.
The Admiral is on a fix! He has already made an assessment for December and has set aside the woddleade chits at £160 a month from then!

Hello. Early to bed tonight! Done with the day and I’m not putting the heating on tonight so reckoned I’d be warmer in bed.
Up far too early with doggy. No, you’re not having your breakfast at silly o’clock.
Set a 15 minute timer on phone and just repeatedly did 15 minutes of stuff. 15 minutes painting. 15 minutes tidying . 15 minutes reading ( this is what I really wanted to do). Back to 15 minutes painting.
Back massage. And a lot of work done on my neck where I’d cricked it. Feels much better.
Painting all dried and furniture moved and titivated with cushions etc. Sat and read for a while. Had to go and get my sun hat! May have had a wee snooze…
Made bed up. Bedding still warm from the sun.
Sausages and mash with veggies for tea. And very nice it was too!DD2 had a much better day.13 -
Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Went to Hereford for a look round. The day centred around buying a parking ticket. Struggled for ages with the machine when 2 (!) traffic wardens appeared. The machines don't accept bank cards from my bank. I only had enough change for 1 hour so spent the morning looking around for an hour, trying to get some change, walking back to the car, having to move it (across the road) then buying another hour of ticket.
Went to the cathedral to find a geocache. Also had a look at the Stanbury Chapel (my favourite bit of architecture anywhere).
Did the charity shops but didn't find anything. Did buy a book for 50p for my brother so I had change for the ticket machine!
4) Did another geocache on the way home.
5) Smaller son had a reasonable day at college. Wednesday is the day when they have a different lunch (and something new each week). Curry today.
6) Popped to Tesco and saw one of bigger son's friend's mums and had a chat.

Phew another very long day, last very long day tomorrow, March has been a killer!
1) a very good drying day - lots of washing done
2) started day with a 30 minute dog walk, felt good
3) ran the day well, ensured people got good breaks including of course me - feta and red cabbage salad sat outside
4) at 5:30 went for a longer walk with the boys - the sun was so big and red, glorious, and met a friend walking his dogs with his husband
5) yummy beef stew and rice for tea - even better the 2nd day
And now I'm off to catch up on ipcress files and then to bed. night all.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Do not cancel your utility DD if you are on a fixed tariff! Also, the DD means that if you're on SVR, you pay a lower rate!
