1) having gone to bed so early woke early, cuppa, back to bed, reading, listening to music, bliss
2) Just as we left Mr T daughter called to say she was at the station - excellent, picked her up en route
3) gbf and I went for lunch - sweet potato and jalapeno soup yum - then a nice walk round - met up with Mr E
4) realised I'd been overcharged at Mr T (somehow she'd rung the dog food as 4 not 2 boxes!) - no proof but we stopped there on way home and they did refund it, very impressed
5) then we did the woozle walk with the dogs during which Leicester won, good weekend for Dr M and me 😎
And now i'm in bed again, listening to Friday's add to playlist.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

1. Woke late for me after a good night's sleep.
2. Beautiful sunny morning and did some gardening for a while.
3. We went to a local nursery for some plants. It is very reasonable and plants always seems healthy.
4. Finished weeding and putting wood chips down in the fruit cage. It looks good now.
5. Easy tea with a glass of wine.
6. Loads of washing done and dried on the line.10 -
Good morning. Bright and sunny already, though still some frosty patches lingering.
We came home yesterday after two days of perfect seaside spring weather. There was a fresh breeze from the sea but in sheltered spots, particularly the walled garden at our nearby stately home, it was warm enough to sit outside and enjoy the sun.
DD is now testing negative. She has no more symptoms except for feeling very tired, which seems to be very common amongst others I know who have been affected recently.. She's back at work today anyway so says she'll be in bed by 8pm!
DH's weekly trip to see the nurse today. The wound does seem a bit better so this could be the last visit. They've been very good though and determined to sort it out.
Right! Lots of washing to do! And lots of sunshine to dry it in.
Happy 🌞day everyone

Morning everyone, thanks for the lovely comments re my photos.
Weekend pleasures:
Lovely and sunny ☀️ on Saturday so I did some pottering in the garden. Repotted my new camellia into a bigger pot, planted out my tete a tete from indoors and watered the pots.
Saturday evening, we went to Hammersmith Irish Cultural Centre, to see an Irish ☘️ group called Goats 🐐 Don’t Shave 🤣 A great evening of music, an early birthday present for OH.
We had a nice meal at a nearby Wetherspoons before hand, it was very busy so 🤞 we don’t pick up any virus, what with that, the music venue and the tube train. Doing LFT each day for a few days.
Yesterday was another sunny ish day and my friend popped round and we sat in the garden. OH was visiting his dad who is still in hospital, said he was really rambling yesterday ☹️
Weather looks promising again today, so off for a walk with friend at beautiful gardens nearby.
Have a good Monday everyone.11 -
For yesterday, with happy Ostara wishes
Up early and a beef brisket prepped for the slow cooker.
Bacon butties and catching up on all things Ambridge, then listened to Alan Cumming on DID whilst doing the veg.
Had to chop back honeysuckle as trellis damaged during recent storms, worse than we thought and it’s basically holding the fence up, now to decide what to do as one side faces the car port. We then mulched most of the beds and under the hedge where we’ve transplanted some cuttings we have grown.
The beef was eaten and enjoyed after a busy morning.
Lots of footie watched, first the City game followed by Forest v Liverpool, the second had much more atmosphere.

Hello and once again my main working week is done …seems like I just wrote that! Weeks go by a tad too quickly some times. Especially the bits in between work😆
oooft at alarm clock going off this morning. Two sets of snooze! Had to defrost car and a very quick doggy walk then in to work. Then home mid morning to take my doggy boy another quick walk. Did his business . Had a sniff. Back home. Popped out the back door and barf! All over the patio twice. Then he ran inside and barf! All over the rug! Waaaah! Quick hose of patio and scrub of rug…with an I don’t have time for this! Poor thing.Work was alright, enjoyed the company of my colleagues. And decent tips. Then nipped into supermarket to get some rice and chicken for a doggy’s tea. Also got 2 sets of very RTC pansies. They just need a decent drink and some love! Bright yellow!Home and friend was just passing so she came in for half an hour for a blether. I was like just go in…I need to take him for a wee! Then he’d to wait till the rice cooked. Anyway nice to see her and nice to see no more deposits anywhere!DD2 has not had a good day but she’s got it all off her chest and I’ve told her tomorrow is another day. She’s a bit like me in that we hang on to something long after the other people will have forgotten all about it.It’s been another lovely day. The tree opposite has green leaves starting to unfold and the tree behind that has catkins. The birds are busy and I’ve seen quite a few big bumblebees. And had a ladybird on my garden chair! It’s seven o’clock and just starting to darken. Next week it will be at 8 o’clock.12 -
Ostara greetings indeed
1) annual leave but needed to do my external examiner induction for RVC - they are based in Potters Bar, I've asked if September's meeting (I need to go once a year) can be when Luton is playing at home 😎
2) and then call from xoh - dd2 (who had a doctor's appointment that morning, pain in chest) had been sent over to hospital for xrays eek - the pleasure is the super NHS - I joined her as she waited for her xray, then more bloods (doctor had taken some) and another ECG then on to ambultary medicine but wasn't allowed to wait in the waiting room (fair enough) so wandered off to the deanery for a cup of tea
3) next pleasure - no clots - they think it's swelling which does seem to be a covid complication in young fit females and seems to take up to 6 months to clear, and she has the all clear for her marathon training but told to start gently
4) so we did the first week of couch to 5k which was also very nice and gentle for me!
5) pork stir fry with ys pork from the freezer and ys stir fry veg bought yesterdayMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025
