Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Smaller son refused to go to college again, so only 3 hours there this week. I was just feeling lethargic at having another day at home when my neighbour came round to say she had crashed her car (written off) so I gave her a lift to the car hire company.
3) Went to Waitrose afterwards for a cup of tea.
4) Hens OK.
5) Bigger son appeared unexpectedly.
6) Took smaller son for a look round Tesco.
7) Made a roast dinner pie for tea. (Yesterday's roast dinner leftovers with a tin of soup plus a puff pastry top!)
8) Did the Virtual Pub Quiz.
9) Just watched Ambulance.11 -
well done frith another 6.5 years for me minus whatever i manage to pay off early (was 10 years 2 years ago)
1) day 2 of staycation - it of a lazy day, and why not?!
2) managed to run all the way to the top of Balgay. yay!

For yesterday,
Woken up early doors by rain lashing against the window but was stopped by first doggy walk of the day, felt much fresher though.
After much reading of reviews and chatting with fellow grey horse owners I purchased a brush especially designed for light coloured equines, oh my goodness what a game changer, very pleased.
Suitably groomed my girl worked well in the school and deserved her carrot treats.
Post op check for small dog, vet pleased and all is well with results of what was removed.
Watched Ambulance, uplifting and heartbreaking at the same time.11 -
I watched Ambulance too .Lainey
had a good meal at our local Indian with DGD etc yesterday evening .my son-in-law gets worse but the DGC were great .
DGD has dyed her hair before Uni - green !! oh dear ,suppose she’s making a statement ,did ask and it isn’t a permanent colour so hope will tone down soon .
I so wish her Mum was still here
I am having a run of nearly sleepless nights so feeling very fragile ,not sure what to do
Yes dig I keep repeating Mother Julians mantra ,but it doesn’t seem to be helping at the moment

SSue, Green hair certainly makes a statement.
DD Sounds like a perfect beach day.
1 Mars has lymphoma, this makes 4 animals on palliative meds, and me lining up bowls of meds. She’s on day 4 of the steroids they should start making her feel okay by about day 7, I have to say she’s already seeming a bit brighter.
2 Currently cooking up a batch of bolognaise using turkey as a base, it is spag bol tonight and I will box the rest up.
3 No additional housework today, instead I’m ignoring it and writing and trying to write to a self-imposed deadline.
4 I tried very hard to sort some clothes out as I still have too many, so another big bin bag full for the charity shop, also popped summer clothes away.
5 Puppy pads on the best offer, the problem is we will now have a wall of puppy pad boxes but have saved on things we buy all the time but err still this is what happens when they have never been on offer before.

Pleasures for today (Friday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Took car for its MOT. The work is done now but I think the handbrake was tightened up too much, as the brake is catching on one side now.
3) Cleaned the downstairs of the house.
4) My brother's birthday today so we went to my sister's for tea.
5) Realised there is another charge to pay on finishing your mortgage so just paid that. Annoying, but that must be the back of it now.
6) Watched 2 episodes of The Cleaner on iplayer.10 -
