Big worky day done. Hurrah.
Oooft at the alarm clock this morning!Day passed by quick enough.
Good tips. In the jam jar.

Good morning
Grey here and heavy rain forecast. Caravan bedding will have to wait another day for its wash.
Back to yoga yesterday. I'm surprised you didn't all hear my shoulders creaking and cracking! All that tension being released! Feels so much better now.
Still relocating ornaments etc, and managing to send some to charity shop.
Rang my friend who has just received a nasty diagnosis. She's now waiting to see what, if anything, can be done. A very difficult time for her but, typically for her, she's more worried about the impact on her daughter and grandchildren than herself.
When rearranging the freezer I found some ancient chilli! Was very nice for tea.
Happy Tuesday everyone

1. Holiday was lovely and relaxing and the sun did my joints good.
2. A food delivery meant no good shopping - always good for me. Loads of tins etc included.
3. Spent Sunday tidying/ washing clothes and in the garden. I enjoy being at home. All chickens ok.
4. Both sons have been round to collect things. Both fine DS2 didn't get a job but is happy where he is. DS1, stayed for food, is very happy in his new job.
5. Had roast chicken and then Apple crumble for tea. Very tasty.10 -
For the last few days,
A long weekend away in the NE celebrating DSS’s graduation.
Awful and long drive up but the pleasure of a nice hotel room waiting for us.
Lovely day celebrating with family, so proud of his achievement in getting a first last year during the most trying of times.
Fabulous Thai meal in the evening but wasn’t so keen on the walk back to the train station, Newcastle on a Saturday night is quite an eye opener!
Lovely Sunday walking around Durham, lots of hills for this flat fen dweller so the legs got a good workout ☺️ The castle and cathedral were fascinating.
Much better journey home yesterday and oh the joy of picking small dog up from her doggy care.
Sleeping in our own bed, always the best.

An emotional time. For yesterday
1) knowing I had a full house for supper off to the butchers for 3 steak rounds. Walked down with xoh
2) then we went for a coffee at one of our fave coffee shops. she had breakfast as well (i'm an earlier riser and had eaten)
3) she went to town where dd2 met her and i made dahl for lunch which i ate in the garden as, although breezy, the sun was out. Got my washing dry too
4) started practising Schumann Kinderszenen as given to me by DD1 as late birthday present
5) then supper with DD1, DD2, DS, DD1's gf and XOH. A lovely evening but goodness shattered - really not used to a full house!
And having had two (!) meetings yesterday despite being on annual leave have just emailed apologies for 2 meetings today saying I'm on AL. people only respect your time as much as you do. Time for a cuppa - XOH is currently finding fault with the kettle having found fault with the shower. Only 2 more days ;-)MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

A day of good intention…
oooft at the alarm clock! Into work for 45 minutes. Was determined to be in and out. Home by 7am.
went to garden centre with DD2.then Tk max on way home…I may have some candles, some soaps ( Australian ones I like) and some blankets…
Then into my mothers. Who’s not done a thing since I was last there. So there was much to do and I know it’s not deliberate but it felt like a well you might think you had a week off. So much mouldy food thrown out. Her food delivery from Friday left on the floor so all dairy had to be thrown out. And it’s not that she can’t do it herself because she can. Two bags filled with sundry rubbish. It drains me emotionally and mentally.Home. Had leftovers for late lunch. Phoned my sister for a moan. Then snoozed. And snoozed. And woke on the sofa with a doggy looking at me saying…er, it’s teatime! Sorry doggy! It’s been a drizzly day here, not heavy rain but constant.11 -
1 A lovely day I am enjoying writing and the ideas that are flowing.
2 Enjoyed a full grill up brekkie for tea.
3 Washing sort of up to date for a few mins, did a bit of tidying.
4 A few things on prime tagged to watch that look good.
Saving 5 for now.

Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Smaller son WENT TO COLLEGE! Just 3 hours, but he did some science.
3) No messages from bigger son since Friday. He was a bit down last week so hopefully he is feeling brighter now and throwing himself into things like normal and too busy to message.
4) I looked round Waitrose for ages (killing time before collecting smaller son at 12) and realised after a while that the security guard was following me around.
5) Hens OK.
6) We used our Monopoly competition free food vouchers for McDonalds.
7) Watched Holby City.9
