Many congratulations to daughter of DD, a great achievement.
For yesterday,
Up early and two lots of bread dough made by 7am.
Both DSS’s at ours for breakfast, hasn’t happened for quite a while now and small dog was dizzy with excitement at seeing two of her favourite people. We had snorker baps with HM rolls, I’d forgotten how much they could eat and was glad I did extra sausages! They went off to play cricket and I popped over to see horse, the school was busy so we had a trundle around the fields and yes, a blast across the stubble which was v exciting for both of us ☺️More food, curry for tea ( snap Frith )
Watched another episode of Annika then had a few games of Yahtzee.10 -
Congratulations to DD daughter

1 Freezer full of prepared runner beans ,they are coming to the end now ( almost a separate pleasure !)
2 Away last weekend with DS and family, met with DH family ,was strange but good to see them all
3Getting things ready for DGD going off to uni next weekend, she is excited but naturally a little nervous,She needs to get away ,but I worry about her brother after she’s gone
4 v proud but very poor sorting the above !
5 walking most days with two friends ,they have problems too and it is good that I can listen too .12 -
Good afternoon on a glorious sunny day
Bala - I hope you're going through a relatively settled spell.
S Sue - it must be so difficult, but well done you for keeping doing new things x
DGD came to see us this morning. First time since she came out of hospital. So good to see her. She looked well in a sort of washed out way, but I'm sure she'll soon pick up. DS and DGS came after swimming and it was noticeable DGS is a lot brighter too, now everyone in his life is back in their proper place.
Have decided to take advantage of the weather and go to the caravan tomorrow. Not been for about 6 weeks whilst on stand by, so we're missing it.
Tomatoes are ripening nicely but it's a race between us and the snails/ slugs! I know they move slowly but they sneak out at night and nibble bits out. I've started picking tomatoes as soon as they show a hint of orange! That seems to do the trick.
House gradually getting back to normal after decorator finished. Trying to cull some ornaments but not very successfully. DH gets very attached to things!
Happy 🌞day everyone
