Good to hear all went well DD.
For yesterday,
The first heavy dew in a while, sparkling spider webs in the garden.
Warm sunshine and lots of washing dried on the line.
After days of procrastination I heaved to and cleaned house, so nice when it’s done.
It was a Handy Pony day at the yard and the sight of lots of tiny humans plus ponies doing a treasure hunt had made my girlie v excited so bringing her in from the paddock was like flying a kite into the barn!
Tea was delicious, trout fillets with lemon butter, yum.

Lainey your meals always sound delicious,
Pleasure for last few days
1 went to a ‘Posh’ afternoon tea in next town ,inthe Guildhall ,built in 13 th century and I didn’t know it was there ! Had a tour .Was used as a plane tracking ops room inWW2 ,has the last surviving grid board fascinating was with WI
2 went to Audley End with 5 WI friends (one of them got half price tickets through her Sparks card so very MSE ) lovely day .
3 Took DGD and DGS to DSfor day and we went into the banking branch there to start sorting yet another of the savings accounts my DD had set up for her and the useless SIL had done nothing about .This one was a biggy as it contained the money my mother had left her and some DD had put in when her pension paid out before her death .The fund she put it in had matured in 2013 and he did nothing so very little interest had accrued.
4 went to an afternoon tea party in aid of BReast Cancer care at a WI friends(can start to see a theme here) Raised over £400 ! Fantastic obviously a cause v close to my heart .
5 feeling a bit brighter this week,my sister in laws comment really got to me ,silly I know
Took a few more of DH clothes to charity shop ,I keep coming to a halt when the memories overwhelm .
Been to the crematorium to view his plaque .Looks good ,I was never one for memorials Burt this felt necessary and I’m pleased.

Pleasures for today (Wednesday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Somehow we are all remaining well with no symptoms of Coronavirus between us. Isolation ends on Friday...
3) Hens OK.
4) Did various bits of housework and washing.
5) Made toad in the hole for tea. Peas and leeks. Rather a lot of green veg but I wanted to use the leeks up! Bigger son made rocky road later.
6) Bigger son and I played Scrabble then did a virtual pub quiz.
7) Will watch the Last Leg just now.
Meant to say yesterday we had a funny 5 minutes in the afternoon. Bigger son and I were out in the garden when uphill neighbours came by. We said to not get too close due to coronavirus and they are both quite big, burly men and were trying to act very unconcerned and chatting as normal - while nearly blending into the wall, they were so flat against it!11 -
1 We have to venture out for stocks and I wanted a specific offer, it was very busy out, glad to be back.
2 Made plans always nice.
3 Pizza for tea from the freezer very easy and delicious.
4 Pleased my car is being good after not being used for a while.
5 Adding a little to the pension pot.

Way past bedtime. In at work early. Quick doggy walk before going out then a lovely walk in big park when I finished.
Another glorious day.Had to take mum out. Much effort involved in this. But done.
Lovely chat with DD1 this morning and then much shorter chat with boyo this evening then the reason I’m still awake is chatting to DD2 who went out after work. So all have been spoken with.Chat to friend. I moaned. She listened! She moaned. I listened.Good company from my doggy. Though he didn’t like the wasps. There is no alarm clock set for tomorrow.14 -

Hope your back isn’t as bad Villagelife.
For yesterday, awful night so felt meh all day.
Lovely Capt S, when I count my blessings he’s always at the top of the list.
Spending time with my horse and cuddles with small dog.
Bit of weeding and tidying done in garden, saw a hummingbird moth on the Buddleia.
Did clean my oven, not a pleasure but good when done.
Celebrated the above and made a Wensleydale and Tom quiche for tea.
