I need to type very quickly as hardly any battery.
bala I hope there is some comfort in diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Take care .
Big day at work . Very busy, in very early out a bit later as had other things to do.Straight home and grabbed a dog and a daughter and we went to the beach. It was lashing here so we dressed appropriately! Hmmm very warm and sunny at the beach! Tide was so far out and no jelly fish! Excellent dog walking conditions.Nipped into supermarket for something to eat and got RTC bread and made a sandwich when I got in!Oh and some RTC flowers 🌸12 -
Thank you Gran and Mhagster.
Am too scared to read details on condition even though i have them to hand. Tomorrow once i have strengthened myself.
Just spoke to my sister who did manage to get through to ward today. Meds making him sleepy which is a thousand times better than the 3 months of pain, nausea and vomitting. He started at around 9 stone. He is now about 7. If that.
I have so many emotions over the way he was treated. But for now have to focus on job at hand. The difference in the 2 hospitals is akin to chalk and cheese.
Thank you all for your kindness and support.

Bala, you’ve been in my thoughts, massive hugs, I know it’s not the diagnosis you would want at all, but at least there can be some management and life quality. I’m glad you are at home for a few days.
Not a pleasure, we are having car troubles with them both at the same time of course!, Ho hum, dh is busy trouble shooting.
1 Friend came over with a big bag of butcher off cuts spare for us, stayed and nattered for an hour in the garden while playing with animals. We are pressure cooking the bones up as I type.
2 Fish and veg from the freezer is tea tonight.
3 The Tesc0 order turned up with everything, I ordered some reduced to clear travel pack of wipes for my handbag, and they basically delivered a whole box of them which is a nice surprise, thou it was a weird conversation as I bought in the boxes in and dh emptied there was there why do we have so many, with me going what eh, checking the receipt which was right.
4 I’ve just meal planned, I’m enjoying the variety that is somehow working but a stew on Monday is still a little bit too much like Autumn/Winter food, but it’s what’s there.
5 The oven is currently cleaning, we always have a bit of an eye on it, as I can’t help but think those sort of temperatures are a little dangerous.

Sorry to hear your news, Bala, but I'm glad they finally have a diagnosis so can now chose the right treatment and pain relief.
Pleasures for today (Sunday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK and I started a tidy up of the roadside edge where the holly trees and brambles get in. (The allotment is on its own, in the corner of a farmer's field so there is no chance of infecting anyone else with coronavirus. I've been going down in the car so I don't have to walk past anyone). I haven't kept on top of the tidying and weeding at all.
3) Bigger son and I played Scrabble and chess.
4) Bigger son made a spaghetti dish for tea with cream and seafood.
5) Did a virtual pub quiz just now.
6) Dad popped up and left us some washing up liquid and milk on the door step! When he got round the corner we opened the door enough to say hello.
7) Bigger son is better today. We both did a lateral flow test and they were both negative. 5 days of isolation to go... More if I suddenly get symptoms!
Here is the field of bigger son's high school getting some abuse!

Bala- with a diagnosis the right pain relief will be a blessing. Hugs to you and take care of yourself.
1. Read my book first thing listening to music.
2. Tidied the greenhouse. It didn't take too much but looks much better.
3. Planted a couple of packets of OLD seeds. They may or may not groe. If any success we could be living on spinach!!
4. Eggs - one of my new hens is laying double yolked eggs. They are enormous.
5. Easy tea of omelette
6. Chat with neighbours.10 -
For yesterday,
Tried for a lie-in but no, wide awake so first pleasure of cuddles with small dog.
Gentle but persistent rain all morning so listened to the Archers omnibus and then had a wardrobe sort.
Made some sultana scones.
Did get out in the afternoon and sort through the fruit on the apple tree, bit of a meagre harvest this year.
Nice walk with my beloveds, small dog took her tennis ball which gets soggier and soggier as she carries it around until finally it’s discarded for mum to pick up and bring home!
Bit of a CBA day food wise but dug out some battered king prawns from freezer and we had them for supper with chilli dipping sauce.10 -
And the work is done…for at least a full day!Busy day in busy ville. I’ve created a monster with a new work project. So many phone calls and so many to make tonight to speak to those I was too busy to this morning.Tips a bit meh ( yesterday’s were excellent) but all goes into the jam jar.Turned out to be a beautiful day ( not that I saw much of it) but still sunny when I came home.Watered the garden. With a doggy by my side. That’ll do for today!12
