sue much love and strength to you for the next however long. It’s hard when you know what’s imminent but don’t know when. It takes a lot of strength and love to say to them ‘ it’s okay. You can go’
It’s been a nice day here, bright and dry though chilly.
Early morning work.
Went to L!dl with DD1. It’s just sooo much cheaper! And was very quiet when we went in.She ran home. It’s uphill all the way!Hoovered. Washed floors. Was sad for the Queen. But 99 and 3/4 is a a good age ( it’s the age I say I’ll be when I go)
Out in the garden. Potted up some new plants and tidied up. Looking better. We need a big tall boy to reach in to the loft to get my garden sofa cushions out! Blooming DD1 had pushed stuff further back when she put up her out of season clothes at Christmas and we are just too short to reach. And of course I can’t have anyone else in the house to help! So we’ll just have to sit on hard seats till he’s allowed home for a visit!Caught up on some telly watching.13 -

Bala- seems good news and nothing serious.
1. Met a friend for a walk. We walked for a couple of hours chatting and then Sat and had a coffee on a bench for an hour. It was so good to see her. It was also warm and sunny
2. Picked up a parcel for DH and not much of a queue.
3. Phoned my parents. They are doing ok. My Dad has been gardening.
4. Some gardening done.
5. Went to friend's garden and had a good evening with them. Some good and plenty of drink.11 -
Pleased that test results were reasonable Bala.
Missing our absent friends, mainstays of this thread, hope you are all ok.
For yesterday,
Changed the bed and wondered briefly when we will get the warmer weather so cool cotton sheets are preferred to cosy brushed cotton ones, not yet for sure.
Trip out to the farm shop, it’s now opened for takeaway coffee and coffee so a few brave souls were sitting outside. A few bits of meat for the freezer, we are eating less and less nowadays.
Made some cheese scones so we had one for lunch with a bowl of mushroom soup.
Over to the yard, girlie in a feisty mood - she literally stomped her feet at me when I stopped her charging for the long grass at the side of the barn - but had a ride in the school. I’m so wary of hurting my knee again.
Home and very hungry so fish fingers & chips for tea and yes I did have a slice of bread to make a chip butty as well, carb overload.11 -
Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday.....

VL, Lainey, ta very much
Must admit, although I ABSOLUTELY refused to worry, I am relieved. To be fair the chest pains, sometimes felt very severe, were a little bit scary. Now that I know how they are caused I just wait them out.
I am so excited, only 2 more days until I see my family. Never before have I wanted to leave this house so much. Can only leave Tiggy for 2 days tho.......and I don't like doing that.....needs must......got to take my brother home.
have a lovely, lovely day...

Hello
2nd attempt! First one flew off somewhere!
A day of not much. Bad night's sleep even by my standards, so much lazing today. Though I have made a cake so not a bad start.
DD and DS both been vaccinated today. Different vaccination centres but both told to take paracetamol every 6 hours for the next 24 hours. They're aged 40 and 38 and both had AZ vaccine.
We've had snow, hail, rain and sun today.I've not been out though because it looks cold to me.
A nice letter from our holiday caravan site owners detailing the repayments they will make to our ground rent as they couldn't open at the beginning of March. I'm pleased they deal so fairly with us. Apparently not all site owners are as good.
Happy weatherful day everyone10 -

Hello. Currently snowing !Alarm went off at 4.30am in work for 5am. Did 4 hours of work. Then home. What a beautiful morning it was. Cold but bright, big walk over the fields. We were up high and could even see the sea between us on the mainland and our big island. Wow! Was very quiet just us and the birds.
Then we went to the actual sea. DD1 went in for a dip! Twas of course freezing! We’ve not been out with our local council in months and months ( not this year) . The niecelys met us for half an hour on the beach.Back home and popped down to see a friends back garden. They’d had some work done recently so had a nice chatter with them.Home and watched the last episode of Keeping Faith. My injection site is very red and swollen and blooming sore so it’s had it’s perimeters marked in case it continues to worsen. And now it’s heavy snow! DD1 was just in the house from walking the dog. It’s right big proper flakes!12
