Thank you all. Sitting by the phone (and am not moving) waiting for the call from doctor.
Quick update on Hoooman Watch......
Well, I don't know what's happened but my crows have disappeared. The 5 trees (still leafless) that they reside in are completely empty and have been for days. Am flumoxed. So too my foxes.
I am enjoying feeding my wee sparrows and my tubby wood pigeons.
Made a lovely fried chicken dinner last night with my own made-up coating. Served with Jp's, broccoli, petit pois, and salad. Enjoyed by all.
Have an excellent day

Yippeeeee
So, I've probably got/had a glandular fever type virus. Another bloomin' blood test 2 be had. Chest pains probably stress induced. I am not an anxious person. Stressed sometimes.......but working on that.
My sciatica....is just that. But my degenerating hip is going to have an x-ray. Exercises to be continued.
Just grateful to be 'seen' to. Thank you NHS.....

Glad you are being sorted Bala
Pleasures for yesterday
1. Our shower is working again - been out of action for a few weeks as we needed electrics sorted too.
2. Did a shift at the vaccination clinic - very quiet but fascinating to see how it all works.
3. Nice chat with fellow volunteer at said clinic.
4. cheese and biscuits and a glass of wine when i got home
5. Watched the Dog House - awwww....
Have a good day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Good afternoon
S Sue - I hope you're still ok and still getting support. Much love x
Gosh Bala - that's a lot on your plate, but hopefully all manageable one way or another.
Today
A walk to the village. Still cold but not ridiculously so. Bought some glove puppets from BnM. I'd been looking at some in the garden centre which were nearly £20 each. These were £10 for 4!! Don't know if they'll be quite as good but sure 10 month old DGD won't discriminate.
Really want to sort out houseplants. They're looking a bit bedraggled after winter and could do with repotting but it's too cold to work outside. I miss our little greenhouse.
Going to have a look at material leftovers to make some garden bunting. Seems we may be spending a lot of time there! But feel very lucky to have that option.
BLT for tea. What could be easier?
Happy chilly Friday everyone

Thank you for all your support,
DH is slowly,slowly fading away
Our GP says his body is ready to go ,but he isn’t .
Nurses and carers are in every day ,the hospice rang out of the blue having ignored him for nearly a year !
All is just waiting,
Thank you all .It is appreciated more than you know x15 -
Bala, glad you were able to get a reason for it.
Carolbee, I love the area, we are going to explore it more, as the in laws love the area and live over in St Nich it makes some nice time out for them, but they struggle with walking so having refreshments and loos in a small area works well. Next time we were going to visit the monument as well? I’ve not heard of The Pines Calyx, is that the place on the road down to the bay it that I thought was a garden centre? I’ve looked it up on the website, are the gardens “free” to explore? There was also a road on the way in that needs more exploration.
1 I’ve just booked our little Humbug into be operated on next week. He has cancer, but has developed problems and now pain with his teeth so no matter what he needs several teeth extracted, we know it will be a very risky op, I’m glad we are doing the best for him but also very nervous for him. As he can’t be fitted in for a week I asked if he can have painkillers, but he can’t as they would react with his steroid meds for the cancer.
2 I took a few days off cleaning, but hey it’s all still there today so, animal loads cycling around, hoovered the house etc etc, pleasure it’s done again…
3 Hair pack, face pack, hopefully presentable, but I feel better for it.
4 I suspect we will order in as they have sent through another good voucher.
5 More birds in the birdbath, this is a continual pleasure.

PK, thank you. The doctor I was dealing with before (not my normal doctor) said it was a virus or tumour......I decided it was not a tumour and used a huge broom to brush that thought away whenever it came up. nuff said !
For humbug and teeth, would he sip a cooled clove tea. I don't know how close you can get to his teeth but gently rubbing some on his gums might bring relief. Just a thought.
Give him a kiss from me.

Coming to the end of an era, Suffolk Sue, is always a big thing to get your head around. It will happen in its own good time. For now, just be there for him and love him.One life - your life - live it!11
