Hello. Been vaccinated so feeling slightly overheated at the moment and a bit ‘hangy’
No work. hurrah!Though did wake up early. As did the doggy! We had our belated Easter brunch and egg hunt and egg decorating competition.Been a bright but cold, cold day here. Went a beautiful walk with DD1 and doggy. A ‘new’ to me place. Though I used to go there about 47 years ago when it was farmland and my sister knew the family in the farm.Did a ‘plog’ collected a bin liner of rubbish from top end of our Estate will do lower end tomorrow.Drove in to town to get vaccine, was all very smoothly done, had to wait 15 minutes then could go.Caught up on the telly I missed over weekend.11 -
Hooray for the vaccine, mhags.
Pleasures for yesterday - though might be a struggle as OH was in a strop with his mother last night and so ruined everyone's evening.
1. Finished the last bit of our easter egg - i probably had more than my share for once 🤫🤭
2. Aldi was virtually deserted
3. Finished 'The Bay' - was good, i thought. Better than series 1
4. Did some work on my paper
5. A day for lighting the fire early and watching the sun/snow/hail/sun/wind combination of weather.
Have a great day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens9 -
1. Work over for the day without being rude to anyone.
2. Pleased I worked with a colleague works hard otherwise day would have been worse.
3. Wandered round the garden when I got home to calm down.
4. Ironing done and all out away.
5. Reading my book.9 -
For yesterday,
Did a food shop, slightly busier than before but mostly older folk so guess the end to shielding starting to impact.
Over to the yard and time spent with my girlie, she was slightly on her toes but that was probably down to cold weather. Tidied up her mane and tail which are both super thick.
Capt S had hospital appointment, consultant reasonably pleased with progress.
My sleep is pretty rubbish at the moment so indulged in an afternoon snooze, two hours later!
Tasty tea of veggie sausage casserole, might be April but felt more like midwinter with snow and sleet showers so nice to have something so warming.

6 treats given to Tiggy in one go last night. I could weep. If anyone thinks that I don't have patience, they would be wrong. Plans just keep becoming so firm they are setting in stone. Just a way to go.
The day looks bright but cold. Tiggy will be wearing her very pink coat for our walk.
Cannot wait for Monday. Taking my brother home. Cannot wait to see my family.

Hello again
Bala - not long until Friday. Hope the results are good news.
Walked to the village this morning. The wind was not as strong but by golly it was cold. I already had sunglasses on to try to stop my eyes from watering ( it didn't work!) And then put my hood up cos my ears were cold. When I put my mask on to go in the shop I must have looked as if I was ready to rob a bank!
Finished my duck doorstop. I'm quite proud of it.
Fajitas for tea. A nice change.
Nearly finished rewatching Spooks. All ten series. Don't know what we'll do then!
Happy evening everyone6 -
1. It was the first day in over a year that I worked with my bubble friend. She was a much needed breath of fresh air.
2. Worked at my main place of work- my back is so much better now than it has been in Thursday morning recently! Managers are unlikely to realise though as didn't ask yesterday.
3. My flowers are looking good still.
4. Chicken pie for tea which was tasty.
5. Washing dried on the line and all out away without it needing ironing.9 -
Feeling very sorry for myself today! ‘I’ll be fine” I said. ‘Mind over matter’ I said. ‘Too much to do, not got time to feel unwell” I said then BOOF the after effects of a vaccine hit me!I was kind of okay then was on the phone to my friend in Melbourne when all of a sudden it was like BAM 💥 Spent most of day languishing on sofa.Had managed to clean my bathroom first thing.
And had sorted out all my vases of birthday flowers.Thank goodness for a DD1 to walk the doggy and make me some dinner ( heaven forbid I got the symptom of no appetite 😊)
it was bright and dry yesterday so DD1 hung out and brought in and folded washing. There’s been rain overnight which was actually nice to hear on the roof.Hopefully feel better today!
have a good day x10
