Recent pleasures:
2 very cold walks:
1 with friend and her doggy
1 with sister and her granddaughter
Nice two see them, but main pleasure was getting home to the warm!
Went to the garden centre with my sister and niece after walk and bought some new Wrendale 🦡 coasters to replace my tatty Bath Abbey ones.
Terrible night’s sleep, or should I say lack of sleep, don’t think I’ll be walking today ☹️
Its so quiet on here, where are our missing friends? Hope you’re all okay 😘10 -
Morning all
Mhags - hopefully you'll be better today
Pleasures for yesterday
1. OH went out for the day - which is good as he managed to upset me and DD on Tuesday night by wanting us all to know how peed off he was with him mother. Peace!
2. Went walkies with my friend - it was blimmin baltic!
3. More working on my paper.
4. yoga
5. Sitting in front of the fire and having the TV to myself for an hour.
Have a great day all.I wanna be in the room where it happens10 -
Will keep everything crossed that Friday results are beneficial Bala xFor yesterday,
Despite a distinct lack of enthusiasm I got to it on the housework, not so much a pleasure as a thank goodness that’s done!
Capt S very busy with his y/e accounts but he stopped for lunch and we had a good natter.
Met up with friend in cathedral city and we went for a long walk by the river, the sun shone and we were well wrapped up so good to be out. There is a water meadow nearby and we stood for awhile watching all the wildfowl.
This was my pal who had to have her lovely mare pts last month, we talked it through and there were tears but of course we couldn’t hug 😕 however we were both wearing gloves so I held her hand instead.
Salmon en-croute for tea with roasted veg, I was hungry after all the walking.

Good afternoon
M hagster - hope you're feeling brighter today.
VJ's mum. You're right of course. Been looking and there are some new films on Netflix to try. And Love Story. From 1970! Might have to try that again though I suspect it won't have aged well.
It's warmer today . As in , cold but not bitterly so!
Won £25 on Premium bonds
2nd jab booked for next Friday.
Went to garden centre for coffee and a wander. Car park was very busy but shop and gardens weren't. Very strange. Bought some lovely bedding plants but think they will have to stay inside for a while.
Chicken Kiev followed by rice pud today.
Happy Thursday everyone10 -

Bala, I hope you get some answers on Friday.
Yesterdays
1-5 We had a really lovely day, we travelled out to St Margaret’s bay and met up with the in-laws. We chatted, had a drink. We watched a seal lounging its way along the waves, that and the spring primroses around just made my day. It was lovely seeing and chatting with them both. I feel like I am having to re learn the art of chat as I am a naturally quiet person already.
There was an intriguing plaque, “In remembrance of Eve Raby, (mapuss) lived from only god knows 13/09/2008. I looked up for information on this plaque, talking to people there they say she was a “hermit” other web searches assume a cat, but a distinct lack of information.
For today, not a pleasure Mr T are not even trying on their deliveries any more, all the fruit was moldy and rotten.
1 Up early after another bad sleep, hoping to sleep tonight.
2 Mowed the front garden, I couldn’t avoid it any longer.
3 Watching the birds splashing about in the bird bath.
4 I did do a bit of clearing, more books to shuffle on to a charity when they re open. I looked at selling them but prefer the idea of the cs, as they were insulting prices anyway, if that makes sense?
5 Leftover pork with lentil pasta and pesto was dinner, it was a rather small portion.

Bala - hope you get some results
Suffolksue - thinking of you.
1. Remaining positive- I am trying to not let things get me down. I find it too easy to moan.
2. Work was fund-raising a different site and with change back to normal working pattern my back is less painful.
3. A friend messaged me. She is having a tough time but we are going to meet up soon.
4. Watered plants in the garden. It was chilly but sunny.
5. Watched the grand Budapest hotel.10 -

Thinking of SSue, hope you are doing ok x
Your day out sounds wonderful PK.
For yesterday,
A productive morning chores wise, my knee was giving me gip after all the walking on the previous day but cracked on as it’s worse if I sit still.
Out to the pet store, thanks to a loyalty card scheme one of small dog’s bags of food was free so I treated her to a pack of ‘ cheese scones ‘ from the doggie bakery ☺️ She loves them.
Realising that my hair appointment is now less than week away, can’t wait.
Over to the yard, it was very breezy and the horses were all feeling the love, doing zoomies around their paddocks. My girlie is so dusty ( we’ve had no rain of any consequence for weeks ) so I attempted to hot cloth her but only succeeded in moving the dust around!
Home and hungry, tea was a cheese, pepper and tomato bake, yum.

Pleasures yesterday...
Had to go in for an informal works meeting but it turned out to be useful and informative. Discussions on mental health Issues, ways to deal with them, sharing experiences. Laughs were had, tears were shed.
Seeing a big fat bumble bee buzzing around the primulas in the garden, and the blossom coming out on the fruit trees.
Delivery of frozen meat from Donald Russell. Freezer now has a month's worth of meals in it.
Simple lunch of pizza and stir fried greens, followed by yoghurt and fruit compote.
Loafing around on the sofa in the afternoon and evening, to recover from getting up early in the morning as well as the two extremely busy twelve hour shifts the previous two days. One life - your life - live it!11
