Big worky days done for the week. Though I have early morning catering every day bar Thursday at the moment (pleeeeease let me have a lie in...or just not an alarm clock going off!)
Nice early morning doggy walk. Crunchy frosty grass. Stars. Moon. And a beautiful song from a robin.Walked to work and it wasn’t pitch black.Busy enough. Rubbish tips.
The day improved...that is all!An extra two hours worked... I’m paying my savings account back a vet bill!Laughter and chatter.
A new baby to see and a big brother ( aged 2) to congratulate!
DD2 kindly picked me up.12 -
Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Bigger son made a cooked breakfast.
3) Went to the launderette (washing machine has broken) and did mountains of washing in their enormous machines!
4) Got more layers pellets and rat poison and the hens were ok.
5) Tom Watson’s book (Downsizing) arrived and I’ve read the whole thing since 4pm!
6) Salmon for tea.
7) Watched Would I Lie to You?13 -
1. Work was ok today. Certain people weren't in which makes a difference.
2. Was fit tested for a mask for work. It was interesting. I needed a different one than everyone else.
3. A friend messaged about job advice. She will stick with her present job.
4. I got DS2 to watch mastermind. I texted him that friends was a subject and he did well. Only part of the programme he watched though.
5. An early night as still feeling tired.11 -

Recent pleasures:
Rubbish sleep Sunday night but as it wasn’t raining decided to go for a walk at nearest lake with friend Monday morning
Bonus spotting a muntjac and a little egret! The little egret was closest I’ve seen 😊
Extra roast dinner of pork fillets, roasties, sprouts 😊 etc as I’d got them out when defrosting the freezer that had got left open
Felt awful all evening with headache and had managed to bash my neck with my walking pole (don’t ask!)
But a better night and feel a little more human today 😊
Checking premium bonds day - good luck everyone 😘13 -
Hello
Good news. Text at teatime yesterday from GP. Vaccination booked for Wednesday lunchtime.
Bad news. It's in the next town, about 10 miles away. No problem except it's now snowing heavily! Might draft in DS and his 4x4 !
Happy ❄❄day everyone12 -
For yesterday,
A meh Monday feeling, baked a loaf and scaled Mount Ironmore.
Walked small dog, a friend has recommended an alternative vet surgery so will ring them this week, she also said that a magnetic collar helped her pooch so will look into that as well.
As always, time spent with my girlie, the sun actually came out in the afternoon and it was good to be outside.
So hungry when I got home and had a piece of buttered toast, nothing quite hits the spot like that.
Watched Uni Challenge then another early night, my energy levels seem to be low at the moment.12 -
Tuesday morning and am feeling much better - January I found very tough and very long
1) back to online work-outs first thing
2) back to well thought out breakfast (have put a stone back on over the winter - aim to lose again by May Day)
3) Teams meetings 11 - 5:30 with no break - realised I could do the 1pm one in the kitchen while eating my lunch (last meeting was 2 1/2 hours with no break and included discussion re. lessening and shortening meetings - the irony was not lost on me!!!)
4) dog walk with DD2 with dogs - another habit we lost over last lockdown
5) took mum's car back - cup of tea and a blether - have borrowed her 'The Country Kitchen' determined to have a go at baking bread

Friffs. My local Euronics man this morning sorted out a customer who's washing machine had failed, and within 4 hours, had her a new one. That is why you should never shop at the Curry House! Oh his brother managed to repair two as well today! They use the FarceBuck to connect with us all!"Take this as well!
I is bit short this day as I has bin to the Docks delivering the good for all to use! Now is nearly time to scoop up BoPsie from her Salt Mine!
Whens I dids finish at the Docks, becasue I hardly use BoP's Wheels of Steel these day, BoPsie has getten it rather mucky, so I cleaned her. She is now glistening inn teh sun. Tyres where checked and her oils and water done as well! Hand washed buy BoP!
Then I has me lates elevenses of a wafer and biskit, with tee mugged as well! Kitty was not happy with her BoP as she had not bin fooded correctly this day! Do I gets it inn thge neck! She will has too learn about her whether and football things!
Watched the millions last night, so court ups with that one. We has the gooners this evening. Currently watching the T10!
Anyway BoPsie wents to gets the vitamins the other day, only too find that three plaices has sold out! Hmm, is that how gullible Joe Publix has become? Simon Says Put yous nicker inn a twist and ...
