Good morning all, pleasures for yesterday....
Socially distanced chat with two good friends. It's good to talk ha ha.
The HT seems to be doing alright in his maths lessons. He's certainly more optimistic about the subject.
A non-working day
Some online gaming with the HT - we achieved a few things that we were needing to do. It's easier to tackle some objectives as a team.
A bit more knitting. I need to make more effort and clear some of this yarn out of the way.
Take care all of you and biggest hugs to you SSue.13 -
Hello. A day most wet and wild here.Up early for work ( struggled to get going this morning) back home by 8.30am.
And not done terribly much since. A bit of a potter round kitchen. Short doggy walks.Chat to friend on phone.
Made corned beef hash with a leftover baked potato. And had some apple pie I got from olio that I’d put in freezer.DD2 back to work after a weeks annual leave so all quiet this afternoon/evening,11 -
Exciting that people here are getting the vaccine.
1) dm got her 1st vaccine Tuesday, no side effects, yay
2) supper at dm's yesterday, not well disguised check up she was ok
3) and today ys pigs in blankets (i remembered to get them out of the freezer last night yay)
4) with mash and multi-coloured carrots - dd2 tells me carrots were originally purple or white and the Dutch cultivated orange (she then took out all the orange, i took one back for the photo)
5) blustery weather outside so mse pleasure is that i don't need to walk home - some advantage to working at home

SSue, Your GP sounds fabulous, so glad you have support.
Lainey, So glad you other half is home, it’s so difficult to see them in pain.
1 Some bits done, ferret bedding changed, our bedding changed, wash loads etc, and in between this I stopped for a cuppa and Sherbert cuddle of course, I get less done, but she keeps me sane.
2 A everything in it sort of pasta bake, I kid you not if it was in a bowl in the fridge it went in it, as I had no meat left, I grilled a couple of bacon rashers to keep DH happy.
3 There is a cheese company selling things off as their hospitality cheese hasn’t sold and I might have bought 2 and plan to portion it up and freeze some.
4 We saw the woodpecker helping themselves to the bird food, so beautiful.
5 Pleased to see DH chatting to his DM on the phone.

Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) Somehow managed to get smaller son up and out and to a speech therapy assessment by 10. (Don’t ask me why he’s had 2. I presumed this was the NHS finally gearing up to actually do something with him, but the man said he was writing a report to inform his EHCP. Which is exactly what the first man said...) A very earnest, pleasant chap who said he doesn’t have selective mutism but the most severe social communication problems you’re likely to see. So that was sobering. All the features of autism with the newly suggested learning difficulties being spotted by this chap too...
Various college members of staff had a chat while I waited and made me a cup of tea!
2) Bribery KFC afterwards then a trip to Waitrose for me.
3) Hens ok.
4) Bigger son went climbing locally and has been planning how to set up his own business taking people on adventure trips.
5) Blood Sugar Diet continues. Lamb rump steak and green beans for tea, with potato salad for sons.
6) Did the virtual pub quiz.
7) Posted a card to a boy in Canada with autism who doesn’t get many cards.
8) In bed with the new hot water bottle and will watch tv for a while.13 -

Morning all
SuffolkSue - glad your GP is sensible and thinking of you, as always. I totally understand that you want it to be 'all over' - for everyone's sake. Hugs.
Pleasures for Wednesday
1. Binge watched 'It's a Sin' - wow, how fabulous it was. My friend's mum's house featured in it. She got paid thousands (in the story, it was on the Isle of Wight - in reality she lives somewhere like Bolton or Blackburn).
2. Went for a walk with OH - a four miler that included wading through calf deep puddles in our wellies.
3. Saw and had a brief chat with my god daughter.
4. Reading my Thursday Murder Club book. It's so good, i don't want to finish it too soon.
5. Made broccoli soup and sourdough bread - had some for lunch
And yesterday
1. A walk to the dentist and back - it was a lovely fresh day
2. Dentist was ok - no problems except i think i annoyed the receptionist by booking in for a scale and polish.
3. More book
4. Had a bath with the Peaky Blinders and some lush bubble bar
5. Family film night, my choice - it was The Terminal. Lovely, feel good, gentle film.
Have a good day allI wanna be in the room where it happens16 -
VJSMUM I watched It’s a Sin yesterday too and like you thought it was a superb drama. The music , the fashion, the same bedspread I had in 1985 and of course the story being told of AIDS. I remember the sobering ( frightening) adverts on TV. I remember the fear and unknown-ness around it. The attitudes towards it.And today we have in the main moved on so far from those prejudices ( I hope) and how far science and medicine has came in that time.Well worth a watch. Also watching The Drowning on Channel 5 . It’s good too.15

For yesterday,
Blue skies and sunshine in the morning, lifts the spirits.
Visited the post office in next village, parcel returned and the one remaining note in my purse changed up for use at egg / farm stalls etc, can’t remember the last time we took any cash out of the bank account.
Goats cheese and pesto bagel for lunch.
Over at the stables and saw the other livery owner, she’d had a rubbish morning and was a little tearful, how hard is it not to comfort someone in those circumstances! but did talk it through and hopefully the yard worked it’s usual magic in de stressing her.
Rain came over in the afternoon so lamps on and cuddles with small dog.

As I says yesterday, has the gasman round too do the service. The local gasman, not the one from the utility! Well all is good with the geyser at BoP Palais! In fact he said it was one of the best kept hes scene! That is watt is lick when yous like BoP at BoP Palais! Nows as yous knows, BoP cheeks the figures on the your stitched dot con sight every month, and I does tells that yous I is on one of the beast deals! So why is BoP geyser in such good order! Wells, I does bleed mes radiators! Do You? If yous has air inn your radiators, your pumps push around hot air. Hot air is what you mum says too you and should not bee inn your radiators! Of curse, mes radiators has the clear water. Nows ifs I has used the man from the utility, they would rip yous off with some con about a flush of the cistern! So again mes tootsie are warm and all for £65 again. Keeps me gasman happy and Kitty warm as well!
Nows ifs I has pay the utility over the nineteen years I has bean under the utility, I would have not bin able to liquidate £3,800. Instead it has cost only £700 over the last few years. Better inn mes pocket that their greasy palms! That is watt is like inn Palais de BoP!
So for the dinner last eve, we has the faggots! Top faggots! Nice, served with creamy cheese mash and peas! Inn Faggot gravy! Tite tasty. Kitty has been growing withs hers decent food detections! Bleeding useless with the whether and the football!
Lats night we watched another flix on the amazonia! Shanghai Noon. Very good and recommended by BoP. Lemonade and cheeses were consumed! Cocoa and Crumpets were also had. No foamed drinks were considered at all!
Bit early for elevenses this day, butt we has a bit of finger! Oh yes! Too cakes of Jaffa and some choklit fingers. Mugged tee as well!
Early as the cricket is on as well! Strange I has too find the channel and did not know the guide had such low numbers!
Now, remember too stayhappy, keep off the bathroom scales and switch off the TV News!
Keep SafeMouthwatering that?
