belated birthday greetings houseelf

1) Binge-watched Traces. - mainly enjoyed but 'Law Hill' did annoy me. It's the Law!!!
2) met gbf up at Balgay to walk the dogs.
3) saw a friend out in her wheelchair. she is younger than i am and nearly died last year from an embolism. now they've detected a very rare heart defect which needs operating on, but so good to see her out (gbf took the dogs for a wander so i could stop to chat to her - two's company, three's breaking covid rules!)
4) and today DD1 facetimed from Rotterdam. She is safe and happy - curfew isn't affecting her as she's a home bird but we're all looking forward to when we can visit
5) then drove son and his cat back to Aberdeen. We had a letter from his Boss but we weren't stopped by the police (we saw some cars stopped). first time we've been out of Dundee since before Christmas.
Home now. Shopping done, dogs walked, supper eaten, book finished, off to bed, night all xxxMrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Amazing memories and photo Lainey, they leave pawprints on your heart.
1 Hoovered the house I think the pleasure is it’s done, with all the muddy paw prints I couldn’t be too worried about mopping so popped some rugs down, lets face it no ones coming around.
2 I did a full roast, pork joint, proper roast potatoes, cabbage, stuffing and gravy, delicious as an occasional meal, DH likes the leftovers for pork and pickle rolls.
3 We are making sure our Bourneville has anything and everything he wants, nothing unusual there but he’s “acting old” we thought he was dying Monday, we shed tears and huggled him and he’s rallied around. He has been checked and he is just older and not in pain.
4 Dessert cheesecake, definitely a pleasure for my very sweet tooth.
5 Old films gladly watched, about 2 soldiers held hostage and not told the war was over?

1. Cleaned the chickens our. They are so funny to watch.
2. I have some daffodils out in the garden. Only 2 of them in a sunny sheltered area but spring is on the way.
3. Tidying up done in the garden. Patio looks much better.
4. Cheese on toast for lunch. It was what was needed after spending the morning in the garden.
5. Enjoyed watching rugby. We won convincingly.13 -
For yesterday,
Making first cuppa of the day and noticed a rather impressive male pheasant strutting it’s stuff around the garden, luckily for him small dog was in the kitchen with me.
In fact all the birds seem to be stepping things up the last few days, lots of noisy cheeping and singing.
A beef casserole made in DM’s slow cooker, worked out that it must be nearly 45 years old and still going strong. Tasty lunch with red cabbage and mash.
We also watched The Dig, fab film and as someone who spent a number of years growing up in a Suffolk village I can say that the accents were spot on. The character of Basil reminded me of our old neighbour Walter who used to garden in shirt, tie and old tweed jacket, all the time puffing on his pipe.
Early night and reading in bed.

Well last day we has the pie of buzzard and mushroom with the rosemary infused roast tates! Proper food and good for your BoP!

Wells as I says yesterday, I saw some Anchor wobbelade inn the emporiums and so I said to BoPsie we should clear the shelf! It was cleared! So it was! Last night we watched another flix on the box. Wagons East. Was John Candy's las film! Very good, and as noted, cheeses and wobbleades were consumed. Oh the wobbleade. Anchor Brewing Company in San Francisco.

Good morning all, Saturday was a wipeout as I was working and also had the worst migraine that I've had for ages so I went to bed when I finished work. Pleasures for yesterday....
A lie in. Anything past 7am is a lie in here but this one lasted until I woke up by myself at 8am.
I gave a person on the estate one of our old iphones for his 90 year old nan. He's put photos up of her face timing her daughter and she looks so chuffed.
The HT found a bank card just by our drive. With the help of socal media we managed to reunite it with it's rightful owner.
A lovely boquet of flowers from one of my closest friends because I haven't been well. Friend also phoned for a chat and has recommended that I watch The Dig.
A couple of hours gaming and chat with best friend. The HT made a guest appearance for half an hour to talk to us both.
Take care all of you12 -
What a glorious day. Sunny and warm.
BoP - agreed! Green Book is an excellent film.. Could wish it wasn't true though.
Quick visit to DD to deliver medications. She's definitely improving, though not quickly enough for her liking. It's only 4 weeks since the op though. She's not even allowed to drive for 6 weeks! I'm pleased to see her looking well, even if the visit is brief and distanced.
Can't even do Reiki cos I think it's a bit of a stretch to claim it's medical!
Decided to sort out Lasting Power of Attorney. Been going to do it for at least 4 years but at the moment we have the time and the money so may as well get on with it.
Right, off for a wander round the garden before the beautiful sunshine goes. ( It's only a tiny garden so a wander won't take long but the fresh air will do me good😀)
Happy 🌞🌞 day everyone13 -
