For yesterday,
Driving to the yard and a tractor was on the verge cutting hedges & trees, lovely smell of pine in the car.
My horse was a little treasure and worked beautifully, it was very mild at 14 degrees so she went back out without a rug, goodness knows what will be waiting for me today 😆
Coming around the side of the house and surprised the rabbit munching on grass, good job small dog is only interested in game birds.
Getting my chores done and sitting down to read my book.
Bit of a made up, chuck everything in kind of tea but very tasty.

BoP Rants for your Good!
& Please go to the normal post from BoP!
Nows I has bin reading taht some has the ISP of carp and jumping ship! Rats jump ship? Now yous gets a telling from BoP, DD that is a reprimand! Got It?
So make sure the router is in the main socket, not the extension. This socket should has the BT logo or similar on it! Wire in you connected 'putah! with the net lead. Test your line connection here!
https://www.speedtest.net/
After this, ifs you has a pad connected through the wifi, use that and test your connection here! You may try it in more than one room!
https://www.speedtest.net/
As an example, BoP on the 'Putah gets 53 Mbs down and 15 up, on the pad, 50 down and 15 up!
If both readings are about the same, your wifi is as good as it can bee! If your wifi is carp, then try a reset of your router. At first just switch it off and on again! Do the wifi again, though is can sort out the bad read on the 'Putah as well!
If the wifi remains carp, but the 'Putah is good, then you should consider using a mesh system. These are available from BT and Sky. At sky you will need another router!
Check out Mesh systems here
https://www.digitalspy.com/tech/g33528576/best-mesh-wifi-systems/
Your wifi will be poor in areas of high occupancy buildings, flats etc due to the bands for wifi. You could reset you wifi on your router by using the admin functions. Your router is normally at
192.168.1.1
Here endeth BoP rants!Confessed, yous will bee?
& is safe to read on from here!
Watched the engerlanders last nite play with the ball. Good win inn the end. Wobbleades and cheeses were consumed. Also some peanuts, Please be aware that peanuts are not recommend for all!
Not connected too the Docks this day, work is finished for the weak! Lazee day for BoP! Copius tea is being drinked, even before elevenses as well. No cake of Jaffa, but fingers sobered in Choklate! Proper. Good for you.
BoPsie was offs on her own too her Salt Mine. Kitty was loose in the yard and over the gate. So I took a walk to the lawn and the fallen tree, she was dancing around there, and I walked her home! She is still not using her flap! Stubborn Mada,.
Tea has bin refilled as I has a rant and a post this day! And another finger as well!
Now I has bin busy this day, doing the washing and then some BoP bits around the plaice, but all is good!

VL hope you feel better soon. I have a stomach grumble/ache and Tiggy won't eat. Perhaps something going around. Am not going to walk her today. She is kipping and I have given her something to settle her stomach. Funnily enough I have nothing in for my stomach.
(Goodness knows I cannot sanitise/disinfect/ clean anymore. My hands are cracking from the amount of times I wash etc).
Lainey, how lovely to have a rabbit. Glad you are feeling better.
DD am in love with my new internet package. Hope yours is good too.
Made a wonderful pasta sauce yesterday and for the first time I felt that it closely resembled anything you could get from a good Italian cook. Only taken me about 20 years ! It was the right colour and consistency. Would love to go on a cooking course.........even though I am not really keen on cooking. Work that one out !..............
Went very early morning shopping with OH basically to stop him from buying things we already have. We have 10........yes 10........bottles of bleach. 4 bottles of disinfectant etc..............
Sorted my very small freezer for the umpteenth time in the last month. Birds and foxes will be happy tomorrow. We really do not need anything. How lucky are we to be able to say that. Am grateful.
I will leave on that note as I want to carry it around with me.
Have a good day

After a rubbish sleep I woke when DD2 alarm went off and it was 7am which is a positive lie in for me!What a difference a day makes. Blue sky. Sunshine...a whole 6 degrees! But much nicer than yesterday wind and rain.
Went flat hunting with the boyo. All socially distanced of course. Application put in and wait and see. Quicker on way home than way up and the whole countryside looking lovely in the sun. Saw lots of cows and sheep and horses and kestrels and geese flying overhead. If you squint your eye you can see the river shining in the distance.DD1 phoned .Home and hello doggy. And fire on as it was so chilly.
phoned my sister.Hoovered upstairs and downstairs.14 -
VL - hope you feel better soon. My dad used to say ' Sleep yourself better'
Had a lovely afternoon. Was a bright sunny day and I went with a friend to a nearby nature reserve. It's owned by Yorkshire wildlife trust and during lockdown is free to local residents ( though we donated the usual entrance fee). We walked round for over an hour, chatting and spotting the occasional bird and squirrel. Then we had a takeaway coffee and flapjack, and sat by the lake watching the ducks. All most enjoyable.
Tea was fish finger sandwiches, followed by treacle sponge and custard. Probably not the healthiest of meals, but good after all that fresh air!I
And now settling down with my book.
Happy Thursday evening everyone

VL, I hope you feel much better very soon. x
1 Cleaned and tided all of the upstairs of the house but ran out of momentum, so I have downstairs to hoover and mop to look forward to tomorrow! So a pleasure it’s half done.
2 Tonight’s tea was supposed to be healthy grilled chicken and salad, however the freezer tetris let us down and there was half a chicken breast, not enough for both, so I popped in some “party food bits 2 samosas and 3 bits of stuffed jacket skins. Not my worst creation yet…
3 Animal areas all cleaned out and fresh bedding.
4 I’ve just applied for a job, that I really want and look promising, I have fingers crossed, it would be lovely to have a positive job.
5 I'm about to cook up a batch of cherry scones.

Good morning Folks,
Bala: DD saw the fox last night. She says it is big and looks very healthy! .......We must still be on his route even though there are no more chicken dinners at this house!
Yesterday
1. Some festive face masks I ordered weeks ago have arrived in time for Christmas.....very jolly.
2. Completed an application form for a job........Really want early retirement, but this does not seem to be a realistic choice, so different job may be a compromise.3. Dinner in slow cooker. Everyone ate it, but me!4. Made apple bread. I am trying to use up the last of the apples from our trees. I am not usually good at baking, but both turned out well. (Testing the cake, may have been the reason I could not finish my dinner!).
5. Played UNO en famile.Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)
We have more in common than that which divides us. (Jo Cox)14 -
1. Feeling more like normal by the end of the day especially when sitting down.
2. Slept quite a bit.
3. Text conversations with a friend.
4. Watched coming and goings of both sons. One had day off but went for walk with his girlfriend and then a run and a trip to grandparents to collect a vacuum cleaner that was left at end of their path. Other one was working but had a meeting and then went for a run and to supermarket.
5. Early night.
