Rosehips glistening in the streetlights. Blackbirds and Robins singing away.In to work a wee bit early and finished a wee bit later so it’s a wee bit extra money earned.Couple of sets of friends in so managed to pop out and say hello.Fab tips! Thanks so much 😊

2. Left hand swelling still reducing. Feels a real plus. Mostly remembering to keep it high, thumb up. Doing best I can.
3. Nothing achieved today and guilt-free, I'm fairly sure:-) Good reading and listening. Lewis Hamilton earlier - well done. & admires him. Tennis now - Rafa, please:-) .....and he has just taken 1st set, 6-3🎾 Enjoying the commentators' own good-natured stats match sparring, too:-)
4. Can't both be right - thinks & in her ignorance. Reconstructive PSU confirmed for Tuesday, but another appt, 30 mins later, for post-op. physiotherapy? Check tomorrow. Still so grateful for all of this ongoing care, meds, follow-up, comms - this real NHS.
5. Watched Jenny Wren, Mme Merle, Hawkeye the Magpie all feeding well earlier. Nearly went out to try and garden right-handed, but made self say No.

1. I could write this most days but the first cup of coffee when everyone else is still asleep. The house is peaceful and I have time to enjoy it.
2. DH was painting so I spent the day dodging the rain in the garden. I cleared some of the millions of leaves we have and put them next to the compost heap to rot down.
3. Enjoyed being in the greenhouse with the rain lashing onto the roof.
4. DS2 cooked roast pork with extremely crackly crackling.
5. Quiet evening with everyone downstairs talking to each other.13 -
Good to see you DD.
For yesterday,
Up early and converted the soaking dried fruits into a tea loaf so for second Sunday running beloved came down to smell of fruit cake cooking, he doesn’t have to wait to eat this one though!
The slow, gentle rhythm of a rainy Sunday at home, caught up with all things Ambridge, made a fruit crumble and did a fair bit of reading.
Made the most of a break in the clouds to walk small dog.
Planted some tulip bulbs.
A beautiful sunset.
