5 OS pleasures in your day today - part 3

I'm ok thanks Bala. I had a problem with a very bad allergic reaction to something (possibly green tea of all things), then the House Troll had tonsilitis. Both things involved the doctor and medication.
I can do some pleasures for yesterday
My House Troll is now 16. Just over 11 years since his dad died and we survived his childhood together
The HT's best friend came for tea. They breathe all over each other in school anyway so what's an extra hour? Pizza and cake were obtained for the occasion.
There is enough left over pizza for the HT to have pizza for dinner tonight. This pleases both of us as I don't have to cook for him and he really, really likes pizza.
I've almost finished shopping for the "C" word. I don't buy much - I have an agreement with my family that we only do birthdays. Birthdays seem more personal somehow.
I ticked another job off the "to do" list. I sorted out the bird table and threw the nuts away(uneaten from when we bought the hanging feeders). I need to ask the HT to reach the tin of fat balls down later. I've put a dish of fat and seed mix out for now. I'd like some clever birds like the ones that Bala has but we tend to have just sparrows and one large pigeon.
Hugs Sue. Being widowed came as a horrible shock to me but because of the friends that I made at that time I'm well aware of the alternative to "unexpected". If I lived closer I'd come and have a socially distanced cuppa with you.
Take care all of you :-)

Sue
My heart goes out to you. I wish I could help in a more practical manner. I wish I had magic words to soothe you. All I can do is tell you this.............you ARE in my thoughts daily. I am out here (along with others) wishing you everything you need. If there weren't so many rules I would give you my phone number which you could use anytime.
Please know that there are so many that care for you, even if it's in this world.
Please, please..........reach out to those that you can. You will NOT be burdening anyone because most people have good kind hearts so feel great empathy and genuine kind sympathy for you.
Sending you my love.

I get the impression!
On the way to the Gate!
DD He was a legend! It was 50 years today he resigned to Grimsby. In those day, they did not get paid during the close season, so all had second jobs. He lived near us in Meggies Town. Once met a Charlton nil supporter and there he was also a legend! Proper journeyman. Shame the prima donnas these day do not do this! Rant over!Well, it has again!
Nipped out yesterday inn to town to eventually get the flesh paint for mes mossie. Looks like a cabriolet at the movement, and snook inn a Hawker Typhoon as well! BoPsie was pleased I did not clear the shelves. Good to support the local business!
On the emporiums, pleased that S has lost its weigh! They were supposed to allow BoP to has a delivery in march, but managed to deregister me. I has not bin inn their emporium since. AVOID! No pennies from BoP crosses their greasy palms.
Nipped inn too the A1D! to gets the shop, and mes cake for mes birthday! As muttered last thyme, snook out other day for the birthday meal! So nows I has mes cake and a mug of tea for mes elevenses. They be a tad lates this day!
Tonight we is watching an opera from the met. It is free on the app via the box next to the oggle things! More later!
Kitty on her flap training, BoP is determined to suceed, but she is stubbbbon! Last eve, I bough her tray back inn, and flapped the door! This morning, no sign of her inn BoP Mansion! Oh bother, no she is inn the yard, yelping. She has getten herselves out! Butt not back inn! Oh well! Flap training continues! More on this later!
Well that is all the nonsense this day! Keep safe all, and think happy. We do cares about those who are missing! As we walk this life, do to others what is right!

Cranky.............pleased you're okay...........
My clever birds are just that because they are crows. I have to admit that they have helped me enormously this year. Somehow, all the wildlife, eased my loneliness.
If I could chose a Super Hero power I bet you could all guess what it would be..............

S Sue. Please don't be sorry for being overwhelmed and sad. How can you be otherwise? Please keep in touch with friends, real and virtual. We are all thinking of you and sending love your way xx
Cranky. What a great job you have done, bringing up your son on your own! I'm often struck by how well you get on together and clearly enjoy each other's company. Much cause for celebration there, besides a 16 th birthday
As someone who is often allergic to things, I'm glad I don't like green tea! One less thing to worry about.

Bang. Bang. Bang. Go the blooming fireworks. Thankfully the dog’s not too bothered with them. Just as well as there’s loads going off. Son and I stood outside for about 15 minutes watching neighbours a few doors down set them off.A quiet day at home ( well until the fireworks)
Up early to have a good chat with friend in Melbourne. Clock changes make for working round the best time to speak. Nice to catch up on their news.Son had interview so I stayed upstairs out the way with the dog. Fingers crossed for him.
Hoovered. And that was about it!Did a bit more tidying in the garden. Several buckets of weeds and cuttings and so many blooming leaves!Son made nachos which were very nice.13 -

Suffolksue thinking of you and how hard it is especially in these times. We are here to give what support we can.
1. Work was ok - at different location. A colleague asked me to read her updated presentation for the deputy head position. It is good and she has sold herself better. Fingers crossed for the interview.
2. Free lunch - not exciting but I enjoy the yoghurt as I don't buy them anymore to have at home.
3. Chat with neighbours. We were in the garden putting chickens to bed.
4. DS2 cooked tea and it was good with ham left over for sandwiches.
5. Had my flu jab at work and was given some chocolate for having it.13
