Good Morning All,
Watching the US Election results, as the dogs decided they needed to go out at 4:30am. ☹️Yesterday and beyond
1. Moussaka, and a stir fry, made with reduced price veggies, makes it taste nicer 🙂
2. Spending time with DD while giving her lifts to various jobs and interviews.
3. Gradually listing stuff on the Bay. A couple of bids giving me encouragement to continue.
4. I made a bird feeder from a cup and saucer from the charity box. The birds have been visiting it, so I will make another two. (I imagine that donating to the Charity Shop will have to wait until after lockdown, so a bit of repurposing is a good idea).
5. I looked at my pension projections again. I need to query a gap and a strange number. I have also signed up for a series of pension seminars. Trying to develop a plan, to avoid having to go back to work.
Have a lovely day 🙂In a world where you can be anything, be kind. (Caroline Flack)
We have more in common than that which divides us. (Jo Cox)13 -
1. Survived another day at work. Tried to push for a couple of decisions to be made. But too much effort to make a decision so we drift as a department.
2. Messaged a couple of friends throughout the day.
3. Loads of parcels had been delivered so all out away and space found.
4. DS1 was in a chatty mood and we watched GBBO.
5. Enjoyed reading my book.12 -
For yesterday,
Bit of day of catching up with family before stricter restrictions arrive. Drove over to fenland market town to spend a blissful hour or so being pampered by eldest niece. Had purchased voucher for a couple of facials during first lockdown and made the most of it.
With a shiny face and sticky up hair I went around to see DSIL afterwards and had a cuppa & catch up.
Home and small dog pleased to see Mum, long walk dodging rain showers and then filled up bird feeders.
Watched the last GW, bye bye Monty and all until next spring.
Clear skies and a bright moon.13 -
The Unknown!
The Tomb is coming a 100!Rite Flap!
Kitty, who has getten the football correct, has bin on flap training this morning. Refusal immediate! Treated, no! Door remained shut, as last time she flew inn like a bullet! BoPsie comes down, not expecting that Kitty can shift, just opened the door and inn she flew! Kitty 1, BoPsie run rings around! Kitty is eating her special foods! BoPsie will recover!
As I has bin doing the flap, also did the yard this morning, swept up the leaves from the trees, too bin fulls, and cut back the cherry. Swept the yard and tuck Kitty on a walk to the green, she likes the fallen tree! I think the other tree is down in a couple of years as well! No doubt the local tree hugging will be upset, butt it will not stand the winds!
Listened to the football last eve, water was drinked with cocoa! Has mes fish and chips yesterday inn the pub. Very tasty as well. Had too get early as the pub be closed on BoP Birthday! Just bin to finger the pressies, has two bee done! BoPise has recommended we has another Met Opera on mes birthday! 3 years ago, see BoP notes passim, I has it on Times Square! Bit differing this year!
That is all for the now folks, late elevenses of a mug of tea and a cake of Jaffa. I has bin told we hold the cake of Jaffa the wrong way up?There, another blast for you!
