I had a dodgy phone call this afternoon but I was up to my elbows in bread dough and it had stopped before I could answer it. When I looked the number up online it said it was a scam. Apparently pretending to be from the Royal Bank of Scotland asking for account details.
The number was 0800 092 3058.

1 Added a bit onto the gas and leccy to build up the winter payment
2 Popped to the human vets for my injection, while out I popped to li£l.as DH wanted the fuel pump to be able to service the car, as he can’t do them with pain and the operation pending. Picked up a few goodies and used the app, very good for budget tracking.
3 A slice of the fresh bread and fake choc spread when we got in, I’ve missed their GI bread.
4 Pleasure of not doing the housework for another day, the to do list has rolled over a few days this week.
5 Ordered SILs special birthday present with a voucher of course from Bloom and Wild.

Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) A lie in.
2) Bigger son went the coast (ICT, in fact) with his father, which has given him more driving practise. "I can't understand why he keeps asking me to slow down", I have just been told !!
3) Hens very well.
4) Took smaller son to Sainsburys.
5) Tasty tea of pork loin chops then bread and butter pudding.
6) A lady opposite has put in an order for 6 eggs a week so took them over to her.
7) Had a chat with Angie the shop about bigger son's teeth (lack thereof) and she has had a bridge for 33 years, which has cheered bigger son up a bit. Amazing how many people are missing a front tooth but we never knew!
8) Wrapped bigger son's birthday presents up while he was out and smaller son and I vaguely planned his birthday cake. He's nearly 20...14 -
Well a surprise at the vets yesterday. Spoke about Tiggy's back legs, concluded it's age related arthritis. Asked vet his view on the supplements I am giving her (and paying £16.00 a month for). His advice was that if I feel that they are working to keep going. However, he told me of a conversation with a rep that sells them. My vet asked why they keep pushing the sale of this particular item when those in the know are aware that there is only one active ingredient in the mix that is of any value. The rest just passes straight through the dog. That reps response ?............. 'Perception'.
Direct debit will be cancelled today. The one active ingredient can be bought separately.
The lump that has recently grown has to be watched. Also the lump in her throat that I only discovered yesterday. It's a good job she always begs for/welcomes cuddles strokes and massages. It's how I find the lumps. I am lucky she is white because I can mark the spot with black marker pen !...............
Things tense on the human front. My OH should not be driving anymore. He won't listen even though he has recently had an accident. Another moment tonight when I nearly had heart attack. I don't know what to do.
On the hooman front. My wee fox visited early last night. Must have been hungry. Life continues as normal. Watched Flo land on the fence and call for her brood. I think I read somewhere that each family of crows have their own language, certainly their own sound. I loved the way they patiently waited for all to arrive before they partook of the meal. Impressive manners.
Mid afternoon yesterday I watched a squirrel run along the fence towards the table. I wasn't surprised as with the walnuts from the tree and peanuts from me there has been huge activity from them. However, there was a crow enjoying it's lunch so I watched with interest. As soon as the squirrel landed on the table the crow moved to safety (?) on the fence. The squirrel started eating and then with an audacious act made everything clear. It sat in the bowl on top of the food. Complete World Domination !
Hugs to all

Re OH’s driving Bala, it’s a toughie for sure, with my DF us kids had to have a word in the end as he was scaring DM every time they went out, maybe he would listen to someone else?
For yesterday,
Sunny even if quite windy over the stables, good schooling session with pony over poles.
Peace and quiet of grazing her in hand.
LO macaroni cheese for lunch.
Beloved had to attend a very long online meeting so evening walk just me and small dog, the beech leaves are starting to drift down and we played the game of catching them before they hit the floor, love that she remembers year on year.
Cool evening but snuggled up with her under throw and watched an old episode of Lewis, poor beloved didn’t come out of office until nearly 10pm!14 -
Congratulations Village Life.
Thanks Lainey for advice. Unfortunately he is a man that listens to no-one. Not professionals or family. No friends to speak of. Enough said.
Forgot to mention that I saw the most beautiful rainbow yesterday. Nature just keeps on giving to me. Including my wee fox. She snuck in another deposit.................

Hello again
I’ve started doing a bit of a catch up on past posts – so much has been happening here and I don't know where to begin to send hugs and/or thoughts and/or hoorays to everyone...My main news is that my DM died peacefully at home this summer, a year after my father. I’m so glad that I was able to keep the promise that I and my sons made to my dad that we would do our level best to look after her and to keep her out of long-term care. I’ve spent the time since then resting, recovering, sorting, tidying, and starting to get going on things again.Five pleasure for Thursday:1. Ploughing through a stack of paper that needed shredding or filing.2. Getting a load of new (yellow) document wallets to help my mega-filing project. New stationery doesn’t half help with boring admin jobs.3. Enjoying the change into more autumnal weather.4. Watching Vanessa Redgrave perform one of Cleopatra’s speeches outdoors at Stonehenge (Mary Beard on BBC2 last night).5. Orange jelly.Have a lovely Friday 😉Bx14 -
Hugs ,so pleased you were able to fulfil your promise10

View from the Ocean
Well ifs yous knows that BoP gets the Big Warster Train and gets off for stops from the end, yous will sees we has an ocean!
Friths. Good Lad!
DD #GIMPS Fish Forum is in overheat that they gets walloped!
VL Beginners! we has 33 and counting! What its is like bee inn BoP!
Last nites we has the buzzard curry! You gets lots of Buzzard inn the A1D!, with toe nail onions and sweetcorn. I always buys the korma sauce as yous can add the tom and chilli to waste, rather then their hotter ones! Three are on the stove for later, remember the refrigerator is only for chilling wobbleades!
Thens we watched the uni quiz and things, well we licked the #gimps being walloped! Wobbelade, cheeses and crisp's were eated. Nuts were also taken. Bee careful of nuts as some people does not get on with thems. They are noit as bad as the banana. Banana are non foods and should be avoided! BoP had Jenny implanted because of the potassium inn these non foods.
After mes brakefest of Monster Puffs, orange and tea, I saw BoPise whisk herself offs to the Salt Mine this morning, I am not connected to The Docks! She has her pack up, nicely made by BoP and I has the same. We also has a special crumble biscuit bottom coated with chocklate!
Cleaned up, dun the bath mats and the washing. Nows theres is note for BoPsie to do when she comes home!
And that is it for another weak of BoP Bites!Do the thing you fear most, but don't let them now your nerves!
