Hope you're OK, SuffolkSue.
Pleasures for today (Monday)
1) Not a bad sleep.
2) Hens OK.
3) Went to Ludlow for driving practise. Had a look round the charity shops but didn't find anything this time. Had a pork roll for lunch and found a garden I had never seen before (though it was opened in 2012 for the jubilee!) Just enough space to sit in and eat our lunch. Noted our most local charity shop on the way home had the door open and people hoovering inside - hasn't been open since March.
4) Got a couple of loads of washing done.
5) Quick pasta tea then cobbled together a pudding of raspberries (off allotment) with yoghurt, sliced slightly over ripe peaches and a bit of brownie left from yesterday.
6) Did the 50th online pub quiz.
7) Will start to watch series 2 of Ghosts. Really enjoyed the first series. I can also recommend the BBC Wales series "A Special School" - no idea why this wasn't broadcast across the UK but it is available on iplayer.13 -
1 I’ve ordered stocks in of oats, brown rice, and healthy things we found impossible to get hold earlier this year, as I have a suspicion people will be starting to panic again, I know in my own right I’m adding to all of the orders.
2 I didn’t get the job I wanted. But the interview gave me confidence, so still looking and working on other things, ironically still a pleasure to carry on.
3 I Properly meal planned for the week ahead, quite pleased with it thanks to the freezer, thou looking forward to takeout on a voucher tonight as I’ve also got a flair up for the first time in a long time.
4 I think the news is becoming manic again, we will limit how much we take in now.

4. A new recipe for tea which was good.
5. Watched rugby and result wasn't what I wanted but did manage to sort out some cobnut- take the lead bits off so they store better.14 -

For yesterday,
These days are all about wringing the last little drop out of summer so morning spent with equine girlie, lunged her and then went for a walk in hand around the fields.
Honey buzzards high above us, riding the thermals.
Leftover quiche for lunch.
A sort out of clothes, some put out for donation, couple of bits to be put on auction site to top up piggy bank.
Smashing evening walk with beloved and small dog, across the fields and home just as the sun was setting. Did identify a good patch of elderberries, need to make some syrup as addition to self care.13 -

Pleasures today......
Coming home from night shift, having just heard a meeting scheduled for Thursday is now cancelled. This means I am now off for 12 days.
Only a couple of hours sleep this morning, I don't sleep that well the morning after, but I have the pleasure of knowing I shall retire to my bed tonight.
Hot shower washing away stresses of work.
Lovely sunny day, only a feisty breeze stopped us from having lunch outside. Instead we had it in the dining room to a background of classic rock anthems.
Usual sing through of choir songs.
Delivery of the most delicious parcel of handmade soaps from a friend.
Started a batch of mincemeat for that festival which shall remain nameless for now. Boris and the media can do what they like, it's not getting cancelled in my house!
Putting the central heating on, it's going to be several degrees cooler the rest of the week. One life - your life - live it!15 -
Will try again! Hello. Rainy evening here. Was a rainy start to day but dry and cool in afternoon. Not done too much today.Supermarket in morning.Sorted through clothes in wardrobe so have a pile for charity bag. Just have to remember to take a bag upstairs! Then back massage this afternoon. Much oooh ahhh ouching,
Had gammon joint and roast potatoes ( leftover from work) , carrots, cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli that all needed used up. And just a smidge of cheese sauce for me using up the last wee bit of cheese. Now up to March 2016 in re-reading OSP part 2. I worked so many blooming hours each week! I moaned continually about the heat. But it stirs up mostly nice memories of who I was back then.14 -
1 We popped out to pick up vet meds and my meds, I’m noticing a difference in how the meds are done now, I’m having to pick up my injection from the pharmacy and go to the docs with it, as the doctors haven’t got any stock, it doesn’t make sense.
2 A piece of breaded haddock with green beans and sprouts is tonight’s dinner.
3 Listened to Boris waffle on, expected things to be outlined but they were not, it was waffle instead.
4 Just bought in the washing in anticipation of autumn arriving overnight 😊
5 About to have some fresh strawberries and a scoop of ice cream.
