Under the wire?
Would tell you where, but then you don't need to know that?
Oh, csd. Another quack cure all! No, Jack is better!
& No mice things at BoP plaice when we had Raffles! Juts let it brew! And now for more of BoP!
Match day again, and no I do not thinks I pay for the live stream? Not the same! Still Kitty is under training for the Mariners and Hatters! This weak she is struggling with her flap training! She has nearly got opening doors! BoPsie has not got used to her wants of fooding!
BoPsie checked the interweb yesterday as she was low in spirits! So we got some Jack Daniels Honey from the emporium for her. On offer of curse! Bala it is purely spiritual!
Watched an old flix last evening, Young Winston. But written before he was in charge? Strange reflection on his childhood, that many has forgetten! And the incidents as well!
Had a BBQ last nite, first one that Kitty had too do the whether for! Sticky buzzard wings and snorkers were had. Wobbleade was consumed!
Rite but short again, so keep safe! One thing, that will improve with age!

Okay, so not such a good day on the human front. Feelings I have been struggling with a long time were exacerbated by an argument. Am constantly at war with myself.
On a good note my brother had ordered this fandangled thing that you put in your computer and it boosts your connection. Cost about 3 pounds and it works ! Think he was fed up with our internet dropping out about 10 times a day.
Now for my joys. My brother is a constant as is Tiggy who has hurt her leg. She has an appointment at vet on Thursday anyway because another hard lump has appeared. My poor Tiggy. Thank goodness I always insist on a small supply of pain killers. Will see if surgery is open tomorrow. For now she seems comfortable so am just hoping it's a pulled muscle.
Flo and Co came for a visit along with Splodge. He must be family because he appears more often than not, with Flo.
My neighbours have a walnut tree at the bottom of the garden but most of it leans over our garage roof. Have seen huge amount of activity from the squirrels as they bury their food in my pots ! No wonder they always dig up any veg I plant.
Anyway, hope you all had a great day.
Hugs to all

Bala, so glad you have your brother and Tiggy, hope the vet apt goes well.
BOP, JD Honey is very good for the spirit, we also purchased it while on offer.
1 Washing both in and out, while playing with fuzzies.
2 Popped out to pick up DH’s meds, while out popped to Lil3l, and used the £5 app voucher, might have bought some mince pies which might not make it to the end of the week. Picked up one of the lidl 1.50 veg boxes.
3 A lady rang for ferret advice, although I have a suspicion it might be a mink!!!!!
4 A lovely piece of fresh bread and marmite, the first we have had in a long while.
5 Checking stocks we need to order in some oats but that should be about it, being prepared in case of another lockdown.

Pleasures for today (Saturday)
1) Nearly a lie in.
2) Hens well and we sold a dozen eggs from our roadside "stall".
3) Bigger son's VSO certificate came in the post.
4) Got a load of washing done and dried outside.
5) Had a bit of a tidy up.
6) Bigger son recovered hugely overnight from his tooth extraction. Now back on full energy levels so he went into town with a friend, then met with another friend, then went in the hammocks in the forest with the first friend again during the evening.
7) I talked to my school friend on the phone.

Aha !
Seems that with one rap on the window I have trained my wee fox. Since then there have been no more tantrums (the throwing of everything off the table ) and no more poohs. Perhaps she knows now that it is my territory, not hers. All food offerings have been licked clean. Even the water bowl has been treated with respect. I hope that I haven't spoken too soon.
Meant to mention that I recently read a book called 'A boy and his dog at the end of the world' by Charlie Fletcher. If you like dystopian novels, this for me was a great read. It is one of those books that won't leave me. So much so that I have ordered a second hand copy of one of his other books. Don't know what is happening to my library. Will phone on Monday.
When I was a child I hated Sundays. Major bath time, no conditioner then, so pain of wet long tangled hair being combed. Uncomfortable 'Sunday Best'. Visits to relatives. The only highlight was Sunday Roast. But I hated it most because next day was school. It has taken me a lifetime to realise that.
HOWEVER. Today is Sunday, my favourite day of the week, so by default it is going to be an excellent day. I hope you all have an excellent day too.

Morning all
Pleasures for the last coupla three days
1. Finding my heritage out on an ancestry website. I have some trouble with my father's side as i know very little (he left when i was 5 and i had little contact after that). However, my maiden name was Roberts and his side is from South Wales - there's a lot of em. the rest however has been fascinating - i may be part welsh but i am a whole lot more Kentish... Also looking up OH's side - partly for the kids but mainly cos it's all so interesting
2. A walk into town and a pootle round the shops. Stocked up on some bits
3. Coffee with a friend in her sunny garden - her little dog is entertaining
4. drove to ICT - stopped at Welshpool for a shopping expedition which was mainly a chainsaw
5. Glorious sunset last night.
Have a great day allI wanna be in the room where it happens13 -
For yesterday,
Boiled egg and marmite soldiers for breakfast.
Bit of a cleaning day, first off was my pony! She has worked well this week so treated her to a good pamper, she is shedding her summer coat and very itchy so long groom plus a mane & tail wash. She loved the attention and fell asleep.
Home and car’s turn for a wash, we’ve had no decent rain for weeks and everywhere is very dusty, underneath it all I have a black car apparently ☺️ Small dog enjoyed Mum having the hose out and got wet as well.
Decent win for Utd, 5 nil away from home and we are top of the table, have been supporter long enough to know it won’t last!
Long early evening walk, picked a few blackberries and then headed home for tea. Had poached chicken in slow cooker during the afternoon so made enchiladas with creamed spinach, too full for dessert.12 -
Bala - so pleased you're feeling better after your struggles earlier. That little fox will keep you smiling. And you could always try the recommended JD!
VJ's mum - I did our family trees a while back and loved it, even though many people in our family's past didn't bother with minor details like getting married or registering births officially! It can become quite addictive tho, so beware!
For yesterday
A good day as DD visited in the morning and DS in the afternoon. Need to make more flapjack now! But we love 'em!
DH continues to improve. We think a lot of the more recent problems were drug induced ( codeine, strong antibiotics). Much needed at the time, but a relief to come off them.
Discovered Sky Arts is now on Freeview. Looks like lots of interesting programmes on there to while away some time.
And today - it's a grey day, but it's Sunday so it's croissants for breakfast.
Happy Sunday everyone14
