S Sue
Please don't feel guilty. Of course you don't want someone you love to suffer in such a cruel way for a second longer than they have to. But you have given such love and compassion that shows how much you care for him. He knows how much he is loved. Hugs and strength to you x14 -
thank you both so much15

Sue - this is so easy for (most) of us to say as most have not been in your situation. It is clear that you, too, are nearing the end of your tether and what you feel is totally understandable. Please try to take care of yourself too - even if it is having a little rant to the universe in your conservatory. There won't be any judgement here - use this as your sounding board if you wish.
Thinking of you and wishing you all the strength in the world.I wanna be in the room where it happens15 -
DD - sorry for your loss
Suffolksue - the care and love you have given your DH shines through your posts and it must be so hard to see him him deteriorate. Thinking of you and hugs to you.
1. Back pain is now back to normal levels - which is good.
2. Enjoyed the weather- I love the heat
3. Text messages with a friend.
4. My nephew hasn't got Covid just a very high temperature - over 40. But is improving slowly.
5. Gannon with a marmalade glaze on for tea which was good15 -
Sue, echoing wise words gone before, it’s ok to rail at the universe whilst watching a loved one go through so much, no judgement here x
For yesterday,
Feeling better after a Saturday of almost nothing but sleep.
Up early to take advantage of cooler temps to bake various goodies for visit from both DSS’s and a lovely gf.
Food all eaten and enjoyed but got too hot to sit outside so retreated inside.
Small dog enjoyed having so many of favourite humans in one place and went from one to another for fussing.
Online chat with DSIL and cousin, arrangements made for suitably distanced catch up.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. SS my thoughts particularly with you at this difficult time xxx
1) mrpiano and I went to church - very strange to think last week CS was there officiating next to our interim priest, reading the gospel, smiling and waving at the socially distanced peace, doing the dismissal at the end. But a beautiful service -after the sermon the interim priest put 'i was glad' on for time to reflect
2) met DD2 in town and we went for a coffee
3) then Tiger and, since they had them (but not last November) bought my advent candles (3 purple, 1 pink, 1 white for SEC)
4) after lunch gbf came round and we walked the dogs, finishing with icecream - i had turkish delight, he had mango and raspberry
5) then went to his (i am his first guest both in his car and in his sitting room since lockdown!). he cooked a lovely supper of salmon followed by cream horns - if anyone's watched High Hopes you'll know why - then watched the MET Agripinna. I saw it live from with mum but gbf missed it - as fabulous as I had remembered (fortunately since 3 hours 20 minutes long!)MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

As everyone is reassuring you, you are truly safe here - and a little bit sustained, I hope 🤲. Pschyte can still be called pschyte here, however it comes, within and without faith.
vl - I omitted you from yesterdays heat-lovers' list. It's another goodie🌞in the Fens today.
Dd - those are shocks we never quite expect and they reverberate. Zoom didn't work at all for me yesterday and is still refusing. I'm glad you have real and recent memories to hold from your space.

1. An advance osp for bala, because I heard it previewed yesterday and thought of you at once:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000lmfm
2. Figs are going triffid. No complaints from &:-). More this morning. & picks+eats some fresh with every breakfast. Conserve-y+bit of port recipe with 2kg upcoming, methinks. Vaguely this:
Done at 5th attempt:-))))), so 5)s. Will start ¼ng them after this in big heat outside.
3 It happened again. Expensive Yale lock snib somehow dropped+double-locked so & couldn't get in. In pitch black, had to get ladder, clamber up, 6 screws eventually out, wide heavy-ish fanlight out (again), let it safe down on long edge, clamber through 27cm gap(just measured) over sink and jump down.
....then all back in reverse this morning.
Will I still be doing this at 80?
At least I still can:-). May it become so much an OLDsp, that it never recurs.
4. Feeling grateful for being unphased through these 5 months. Still can't get used to having time to get many things done, including mercy missions.
5. Watering all done by 7 bells. Several of us are teasing friend in Wales to shove reported excess pluvials over this way. Only 40 more 2nd crop tatoes to find more space/bags/homes for and plant, or bully more friends into accepting:-)
Foisting by stealth looking likely:-)
Crimbo dinner pommes de terre are persuasive.

Osp 6, less seen lately - 2 more npds. 3rd likely tomorrow.

Avoid spikes, wear masks, walk out well-spaced, stay safe.

Talking of birds (tee-hee) seeing that one has reminded me of a list made of favourite David Attenborough moments and a bird that could mimic all manner of sounds won and came first.
My favourite was a bird that would gather flowers and make a beautiful display to attract a mate. That is my kind of bird.
Wish I could remember it's name. 'scuse all spelling mistakes............AKA : Bala La Boo & Bala Baloo

Saw the choughs down in Paradise Park in another life, mid-80s. They were still finding their way and that felt good.
Another strong recommendation from that time: Leonard Williams' Woolly Monkey Sanctuary

- and I like to think of John Williams knowing this in his upbringing and becoming a virtuoso classical guitarist:-)CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
