DD that is so sad, and such a shock. Am thinking of you.
Two nice meeting- friends-days at the sunny seaside.
Couple 1 - we met up with in a local pub. Plenty of social distancing as very few customers. We hadn't seen these friends since the end of December, so lots to catch up on.
Couple 2 - we went round to sit outside their caravan. Nice and sunny but a cool breeze. Last saw them about 3 weeks ago but still seemed to have plenty to discuss! It's a bit of a treat now to chat to other people for any length of time.
Went to the nearby stately home this morning. Much busier than usual but the grounds are huge so room for everyone with some to spare.
Happy 🌞evening everyone14 -
DD So sad and hard, thinking of you.
VJM, it’s definitely cooler in Wales..
Lainey, hope you are feeling much better soon.
Yesterday
1 Freshly homemade malted bread so a grilled bacon sarnie was enjoyed.
2 I got on and did a bit of tidying up I have been putting off all done now bits and pieces packed away.
3 A few washing loads, towels, and unpacked from a packed away crate summer clothes to freshen them.
4 A cheats food fakeaway really, oven pizza, chicken pieces.
5 A sudden afternoon/evening late night visit to in laws to take over our air con unit concerned for in 90s FIL, and it was a nice visit and easy conversation.
Today
1 Animals all inside enjoying air con, our little humbug decided he wanted to go out for an amble around the garden yesterday evening but it was still reading 28, so garden is shut to animals for now, topped up the bird food and water.
2 DH has an MRI tomorrow, and we are both hoping and praying it shows something up he is in so much limiting pain.
3 Cleaned the oven, is it a pleasure its done.
4 I ignored the takeaway offer and ice cream in the freezer and cooked up a turkey mince filled with good for you things and turmeric brown rice.
5 Definitely a pleasure it seems to be cooling its now gone 8pm and the temp is 25.

Pleasures for today

3. sat in the garden with my book - might have dozed
4. Went for ice cream and a circuit with DD. Coffee for me - yum
5. Cooked stir fry for tea - quick and easy.
Nighty night all - i'm rather shattered and will soon be bedwardI wanna be in the room where it happens13 -
