Well now Aberdeen is in lockdown so DS won't be coming home for the weekend :-( so glad we went to see him when we could. Rotterdam (where DD1 move to January) now with restricted areas so no idea when i'll get out there. Still, we are for now all safe. for the last 2 days
1) wondered whether to go see Fulham Brentford BOP at my fave pub cos it was absolutely tipping it down but at the required time the rain stopped.
2) The pub was pretty empty and I got a ring-side seat. And what a dull match it was! Nice chat with bloke who claims to have been babysat by Mick Hartford when he was going out with bloke's aunt. very dull FT but very exciting ET
3) when i got home i had one of the free bananas on toast
4) yesterday made some blueberry pancakes from the free bananas and had with strawberries and yoghurt. yummy (other 4 in fridge for today)
5) mrpiano arrived back from Oxford safely - still not sure when he'll go back to Alabama - Tuscaloosa currently has a 'stay at home' order till 31st August.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Stones, just what we needs!
Posted millennia ago by JCBs and yellow dragons! Worshipped by Victorian druids and they are a sun dial that can predict when it is going to rain. Simple, if they is wet, it is raining! Not available inn Mhags Town!
I red that as DD wandered inn to the pub, and watched Foolham be promoted! Just gone throughs me memoirs on the farcebuck. I noted that the Kittens were sat bottom of FBL2 in 2011! And this year theys were demoted from FBL2! Progress!
Birthday grating to thems that has one!
Now all action in the BoPsphere!
Watched the cricket last evening and then had the quizzes. Challenge of the uni and the millionaire thing. Cheese and wobbleades were consumed! Managed to get the box of q record this weak, as I don't like to give the bbc my details, so I use Mhags name for me insteed. Pete the Pirate! Got neighbore some wobbleades as well, and I has a plastice thing inn me wallet with a picture of liz and a figure ten! Can someone tell me what to do with it?
We did has the chilli'd snorkers last night, proper snorkers topped with deadly hot sauces. Rite tasty, with fresh crust bread as well!
Just bins to the A1D! and got the weaks shop inn. Pork medallions for tea on SunDae, and four more for the freezer, all for £5.59! Half the price of the coop and w8r5! That meants that BoPsie has gettens her wine inn for the weakened! All sore ted! Oh, and no parsley sauce this weak, as I has to makes the apple sauce.
Nows has the lates elevenses this day, with a decent cake of the Jaffa! Cricket is on, and we is doing well and then we is ... I has some decent tarts for later this weak. Bakewells. More over the weakened!
Nows we is ready for some luch this day, with a bite of the eggs of scotch this day, as well as the usuals. Laters for dinner, it is the squirty bacon & egg banjo! Proper tea, and BoPise does no like her eggs like that!
That is it then for this day! Keep safe all!
There be hundreds and thousands of 'em on me trifle!

News on the Flo & Co front so turn away/ignore if it's not your thing. (Seriously, this has kept me sane since lockdown).
I watched Flo & Flossy have a real good go at my neighbours apple tree. Don't worry, they always wait for them to rot and then have huge clear up. Flo started, Flossy watched for a bit then followed her mum's lead. Fluffy (the loud one that yells alot) sat on the fence and patiently watched and waited for about 20 minutes. I was impressed as she didn't make a sound.
I have learnt that they mate for life (unless there is death or no babies). They are great family birds. Someone like Flossy stays and protects her younger siblings when Mum goes for food. They may not be the prettiest of birds but they are bright, even using tools. They remember human faces. I often see Flo just watching me and she is the one that stays closest when I go out.
A few days ago I put out some french beans and peas which were eaten. Today I offered blackberries, they were explored but left. I am beginning to know their preferences.
I really understand now why people become bird watchers. The last few months all of my little visitors have brought me stillness and joy.
Joy to all

Pleasures for today (Thursday)
1) Bit of a lie in.
2) Hens ok.
3) Bigger son is making plans, including having a few professional driving lessons. We did an online pretend theory test. I think he'll need about 3 lessons before he takes his test.
4) A very unclear and unhelpful email from the County Council today, pretty much reneging on what they had promised for smaller son. Got a few contacts ready to speak to tomorrow though I am sure it will need to go to tribunal etc...
5) Went to nearest town very briefly for posh curry making supplies.
6) Bigger son made a posh curry!
7) Changed 2 beds and got 2 loads of washing done and dried. (Well, the second load only went on the line at 10.30pm so can stop out there).
8) Did the virtual pub quiz - week 20!

Morning all
Pleasures for Wednesday
1. Finished a book on my kindle - having read few books for pleasure in the last few years finishing one feels like an achievement
2. Washed the floors - house is mainly clean again (couldn't be bothered to dust... it'll wait)
3. Bought friend's birthday pressie - shopping trip felt safe and was hassle free
4. watched a film with OH - the Report. Was OK though a little unexciting. Knitted some of my blanket.
5. DS went out with some old friends he hasn't seen for a bit (i think there was a bit of a falling out). He enjoyed it.
I was actually a little bored today - this is a pleasure as boredom is new to me of late. I have projects i could start but am off to ICT today so didn't really want to start anything as they are quite big. Also work on thesis not 100% done yet as i'm waiting on other people. It has shown me that i need a plan..
And yesterday
1. First time back on a train - masks worn by all but was pretty empty
2. Walked 7 miles between home and station and station and MiL's
3. It didn't rain (much) so could still visit MiL in her garden (regrettably the visit itself was not a pleasure - she is very wearing)
4. Jacket spud, beans and cheese for tea
5. Bed early - totally out of spoons... Today is a new day.
Have a good day all - back to the seaside for me!I wanna be in the room where it happens12
