Sue I hope you have a lovely day. Treasure what time you have together. It’s a kind of limbo time and anticipatory grief is very hard. Your mind kind of runs ahead of you and all sorts of ‘what wills?’ What will happen? What will be? When? How? But as someone who’s been through similar (though not the same) I send you all my love and strength to get through each day (and sometimes days are done hour by hour) and just cherish what time you have now.
You can’t change what is happening but you can still be a positive person in amongst the hardship of it all ...there will still be shiny moments. A glimmer of humour in his eyes instead of a joke told. A raise of an eyebrow perhaps instead of a long reply. And the birds are still singing and that blooming grass still growing!Take care of you x12 -
Suffolk Sue. My heart goes out to you. The most difficult of times made even worse by current circumstances.
Mhagster has said much of what I want to say, but said it so much better than I ever could.
My thoughts and prayers are with you xx

If only you lived nearer Frith you could have all manure you need!
For yesterday,
Our farm shop had flour, bread, SR, plain and wholemeal, this made me so happy that a punnet of strawberries jumped into my basket too.
The beautiful grey one was full of the joys again and charged around the lunge pen at warp factor 5, bless her all she wants to do is get back on the luscious new grass.
Made a loaf from a new to me recipe, the dough was v sticky and vaguely resembled the Quatermass experiment but turned out nicely.
Evening walk with beloved and small dog, beautiful evening with a big moon rising in the sky.
The Repair Shop and being leaky-eyed over a family and their radio.

1heard today that NHS will pick up all costs under the end of life section.Death expected within 3/12 ,as half the medics didn’t think he’d make last Christmas and nobody expected him to make Easter I can understand them being so guarded!
2 lovely day
3 my lovely gardener came ,she a good friend now and the pleasure is I can keep her as much as I need her .
4 persuaded DH to let me lake him into the garden to watch her for a while ,he really doesn’t want to do anything now ,can just move his hands ,but he enjoyed it ,though I gulped a bit as he watched us plant runner beans etc as we all know he won’t see them .
5 all his sisters pleasure in the treats we’d sent them for VE Day ,made me feel good too .

Hello. Bedtime here.Up early and across the fields . DD2 came with me.Walked to allotment, met up with neighbour/friend and we socially distanced whilst chatting and gardening. Was warm/cool/rainy(momentarily)/warm. Zip up. Zip down. Jacket off. Jacket on kind of weather.Home. Snoozed whilst watching GB Sewing Bee. Hadn’t realised son had cooked a stir fry for his lunch until I saw the dishes! Snored through it all apparently!
Then had some plants /seedlings dropped off. Then friend called to ask if they could return boxes etc from last week’s morning tea. They came with flowers. Which was nice.Made a very nice chicken pasta for tea.Did the 8pm clap. Lots of neighbours out tonight.
nice last doggy walk just as sun was setting.Have a tidy kitchen. Just sorted it all before bed.A good day.13
