HappyCas the BHS ( British Horse Soc ) recommend not hacking out on the roads at the moment JUSTIN but otherwise leave it up to individual, have done a bit in the school as soft surface and been for gentle meander around yard paddocks but other than that it’s groundwork only. HTH.

I wanna be in the room where it happens13 -
Lainey T - Thank you for the explanation. It does seem a shame you can't ride your horse, but I suppose it will all be for the best. I'm glad you're still able to ride occasionally, even if you can't go very far!
Maybe sometime soon......14 -
Pleasures for today (Tuesday)
1) A lie in.
2) Bigger son worked on producing a very elaborate escape room. One of the puzzles uses centrifugal force to move nails in 2 blocks of wood so they will separate - all made in the shed!
3) Popped to Halfords for a puncture repair kit and a bike helmet for my brother.
4) Trumpet fanfare - Sainsburys!! No queues so my first visit for 6 weeks. Everything except plain flour and bread yeast. Had a chat to our favourite lady on the till.
5) Had a campfire on the allotment.
6) Talked to my school friend and I've been invited to play Dungeons and Dragons online from Saturday!
7) Bigger son and I had a chat about VE Day as the war means nothing to us - both my grandads were in reserved occupations and I don't know anyone who has been in any of the armed services. So we've decided to watch a bit of it on the television and cook a Woolton Pie. I got the ingredients today.

1. Enjoyed my walks at wokj. Anything to get out of the department.
2. Went to find scrubs and was given some by a lovely lady who cheered me up.
3. My boss talked to me- line manager didn't - but only after I nearly burnt my hand on the hot water from the tap. A tap that never has warm water. All forms filled in so all fine!; My hand is fine.
4. Spoke to my parents. They seem to be ok and cooking for their neighbour.
5. Had a new shower fitted by a neighbour. Will be able to use it today. All social distancing rules stuck to I think as I was at work.11 -
Good morning all
Frith I had never heard of Woolton pie - just googled it - enjoy
Few recent pleasures:
new local place for my walk - lovely wooded areas
Unpacked a few more boxes of kitchen items from the garage and rearranged a couple of my new kitchen cupboards
lots of washing dried on the line in yesterday’s sunny breeze - pain putting it all away though
clippers finally arrived so I cut OH’s hair - he is much relieved!
Managed to cheer up my elderly neighbour a little bit and took down some dinner for her. She is 90 on Friday and is really struggling being on her own at this time
Heve a good day everyone 😊
An extra - beautiful bright moon in an early evening blue sky last night 😊

For yesterday,
A tasty breakfast of toasted soda bread and some extremely yummy marmalade.
My potted azalea in full bloom, pink flowers loved by the bees.
Made red pepper hummus and had some for lunch.
Am finding an hour every other day keeps the garden in a tidy state, fed my roses as now in bud.
A new series of the A Word.12 -

These are for yesterday, back later with todays.
There may have been midnight munchies, it involved a full packet of mint oreos that are definitely not made like they used to be, but they were 50p and ended up in the “sweetie box”. The plan was to have 3 each. Well yes best made plans.
1 I mowed the back lawn, and also watered I’m finding it quite therapeutic walking around with the hose, conscious we are on a water meter thou.
2 Spent a little time wrapping up DH’s birthday presents, the drill and box were awkward to wrap.
3 A bowl of chili with some cheesy tortillas for tea.
4 Usual Tuesday cleaning as I call it, I make sure all of the litter trays and ferret bedding are cleaned over to fill the rubbish up for the next mornings collection.
5 Sitting on the sofa, and there are 4 grey squirrels eating off of various bird feeders and a crow using the bird bath to soften the food.
6 I was trying to find a way to make a trough liner without purchasing but it seems like I’ve exhausted ideas may have to buy one.

Good morning, lovely day here. Good luck with the marking VJs Mum.
Here is my 5.
A half day today as the weather is to be lovely. Doing a couple of hours Friday morning so no need to use holiday allowance.
Will need to look up the VE celebrations on Friday.
1, 2 ropes of washing out. not a thing in the basket.
2, Cats full of the joys of spring and playfighting. Funny - until I had to pick up clumps of fur.
3, Yesterdays home made pea supports for the planters look ok so will replicate for the runner beans.
4, New Lidl opened in the nearest town and I needed veg. Very impressed, British tomatoes Yay! and all the veg looked fresh. A bottle of French Rose is chilling for tomorrow.
5, Family and friends are well. Miss them, but rather they were well. Will be interesting to see how the lockdown will be eased.
Have a good day all.12
