Those Hippo bags are a brilliant invention, aren't they La E? I think someone else on here (Ally?) mentioned them way back when I was looking at skip prices.
Wasnae me. Here's the link though. (Link)

Quick hello from me as me and the kids are just about to leave for our couple of days away. Not sure if I'll get on for a couple of days but I shall attempt to keep the faith.
Ziggy - everything crossed for today.
Not a chance of money saving today but... we have pre booked meals to get a discount and are going for breakfast where the kids eat free with a paying adult. So small things.
Have a good one all - and love and hugs to all that need. Not giving up

Morning
opps been faffing about doing nothing and an hour has gone! Need to start getting ready as have a play date with a new allotmenteer who has a 8 year old girl. Am hoping they hit it off so I can get a couple of hours in! Need to pack up play things, blankets & cushions. Luckily it's not going to be too hot. Taking a load of things to be planted up. Also taking my brand new strimmer to strim down the walk way between mine & my neighbours plot
Today's efforts are largely based around entertainment for madam - free stuff, park (found a new one on our estate while I was leafleting yesterday!), maybe library, bake a cake
have ordered a load of school uniform bits for madam - prob about 1/2 of what we need
canvassing - nervous about this as haven't done it before! Drop off some leaflets to people who have said they'll leaflet their street
starting work on my presentation & interview prep. Tis likely I won't need to do this as per my email. Thing is not sure I'm ready to step up again, I still get overwhelmed with too much stress....
Will hang out washing & do another load
all meals from stores -
pot up last 4 or 5 tomatoes - might need to take a potting bench out of my greenhouse....
That'll do! Have a great day guys xDF as at 30/12/16

Thinking of you and your family today Ziggy :grouphug:
Ally and La E, I hope you are ok
Have a nice break CCL
Today I will:
Have strawberries from hanging baskets for breakfastDone, and found a couple for little GD when she came round with her mum this afternoon
Dog walks OH did these today
Item to wrap for ebay Done
Trip to post office Done, but annoyingly had to go to to supermarket first to buy printer ink (Mr S is the cheapest place in our little town) for the drop and go form. Even more annoyingly, they were out of single black cartridges and I had to buy a multipackUsed a voucher for extra points, but, although I will eventually use the various colours, I could have done without the big outlay. And no, the cheap cartridges you can buy on the internet don't work with my printer, they just mess the whole thing up
The only saving grace is that it is a business expense!
Check sales unit while out, to see if anything needed Done, rejigged a bit and had an empty shelf - that can't be allowed to happen :eek:Now refilled
HM meals - need to cook sausages from fridge Had these for dinner with leftover salad stuff from weekend and a packet of Ainsley Harriott flavoured couscous that I found in Mr S reduced to 50p
Find a decent box to put camping cooking stuff in - I am bound to have an empty plastic crate somewhere, no spend neededFound one, haven't put the stuff in it yet though
Check banks after some pretty big spending over the last few days  Done :eek::eek:
Check for surveys - just one more to go for a Yougov payoutJust one for onepoll today
Housework - clean bathroom at least! Also did stairs, bedroom and landing :T
Peg washing out on line if it looks as though it won't pour with rain - if wet, put it on airer Well, it did pour with rain and then it dried up and was sunny and windy, so I got 2 lots dry. Some of it needs ironing unfortunately, but that can wait till tomorrow!
Anything needed in the garden Just needed to water items in mini greenhouse
Quite a big list today, better get on with some of it :eek:0 -
