Hi May Marvellousos,
DW doesn't feel like doing anything today so I guess I'll go it alone.
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Check online banking.
* Keeping an eye on Broadband Allowance.
* Bulb has blown in sitting room. Fit a new low-energy bulb.
* Do RM Surveys.
* Get some exercise at the outdoor pool.
* Work out how close I am to earning another credit card reward on 0% card. 54% of the way.

Morning all,
DawnW I'm jealous , our strawberries are still tiny little green babies!
So are some of mine Julie, I have different varieties that are ready at different times, just a few of each, grown in hanging baskets and troughs (all jumbled up together). I don't get huge amounts for freezing or jam (plenty of raspberries for this) but there are strawberries for breakfast most of the time from now till the end of July, unless of course my grandchildren get to them first!0 -
Hello everyone! Back to the grind today
I'm feeling a bit anxious this week. I think it's because work is picking up and I've got a new boss who keeps throwing projects at me. She's given me a deadline tomorrow and I have to complete some slides and present back to her all within 4-5 hours
Also, I booked up to attend a seminar on Saturday and at the time of booking it seemed like a good idea but I'm going alone. I hate going alone and have started to thinking of excuses of getting out of it but on the other hand I really don't want to go and not miss out.
I think I've become more introverted over the past few years and shy away from meeting new people in an environment where I don't know anyone. If you ask any of my friends if that was me they'd laugh and say no.. but inwardly I'm dying.
FatVonD: Have you looked at MSE template for claiming back the PPI? No need to pay any company to do it for you. We did it following Martin's template and it was all straight forward and easy and got the money back.
Anyway, here's today's list:
* Go to post office and post ebay parcels - Done
* Return an item via Click and Collect - Done
* Return item to Next - DH is doing that for me
* Have the left over chicken from last night for lunch today
* Get in a free workout at home
* Surveys
* All meals from home
* Will see if weather holds up for a walk in the evening
Enjoy your day everyone0 -
Hi May Marvellousos,
Still at it:
Debt Free-Nillionaire Continuity Plan Year Three:
* Drove to within 1.5k of the pool. Walked to the outdoor pool and swam. Walked back to car. Forgot my water bottle, couldn't buy anything in the vendy instead cos it was broken. :rotfl:
* Took a bath towel that's ready for the wash instead of a fresh one to the pool.
* Making homemade KFC for dinner tonight.
* Post stamps sold on eBay. Gave DW the profits.
* Watching DVDs this afternoon wrapped in a blanket, with cheesecake.

Twins, I did take a look but the thought of doing it myself terrifies me, I get really stressed when I can't find old paperwork and stuff.
Afternoon all, I'm knackered after a long weekend of tidying the house and sorting stuff, I'm glad to be back at work for a rest :rotfl:
I've brought in all food and snacks from home today. Not sure yet what dinner will be but I had a root through the freezer yesterday and it's full to bursting so no need to buy anything. Maybe courgette and salami pasta.
On the subject of courgettes... they both have a few flowers now, as I'm new to this I'm not confident I can identify male from female to pollinate them so I'll just leave the bees to do their stuff. Auby has two flower buds as well! Do they have male/female flowers too? If so I hope they are one of each, I'm sure mother nature knows what she's doing!
Still no news on the job, every time she speaks to me I think she's going to mention it but never does and every time I freeze like a rabbit caught in the headlights, I don't think I'm exactly helping myself. Luckily she seems happy with my work which is what counts.
Hope everything is going ahead as planned, ZiggyMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

FVD I just let my courgettes get on with they seem pretty self sufficient. Also when you start getting fruits you'll see instantly which ones are make and female because females have a fruit at the base of the flower and male doesn't! Usually male flowers come first but females come quickly afterDF as at 30/12/16

Getting investigations for some health issues at the min. V glad for the good ol' NHS but frustrated at the same time as it's difficult to see specialists and getting conflicting info.
It's been an up-and-down sorta time - trying to stay positive and trying not to dwell but deep down I guess I need to brace myself.
Thinking about you Ziggy - hope hubby's op went well. :grouphug:
FVD - Check out clearabee https://www.clearabee.co.uk/ - they pick up hippo bags cheaper than hippo and do their own cheaper version
In small things news:
- using £10 club card vouchers for restaurant vouchers so £40 to spend :T Might go with OH in a couple of weeks.
- cheapo porridge brekkie
- sent pal a card via pre-pay balance in moonpig so didn't need to pay (was a nice surprise from my past self to my future self today)
- survived to payday with £500 in the bank - not so long ago I would've been lingering at the wrong end of my overdraft
- updated energy account for my preferences - asked for all my energy to come from wind farms
- sorted postal vote :cool:
- looking up holiday day trips - found 2 for 1 voucher for one place so far :think
OH is talking about getting a take away tonight (pay day treat..) so I guess I'll go along with him :rotfl:
Did I tell you I canned job#2? Was too much stress for too little gain (read: costing me to run it rather than it paying me...). Was pretty hard to pluck up the courage to tell them but I'm loving my newly-found free time!0 -
That sounds fantastic, La E, I can't remember what it feels like to have money left at the end of the month!
Thanks, DNMS, I think I can see what looks like a baby courgette at the base of one of them!
I've succumbed to 2 for 1 pizza tonight, I had only a couple of hours sleep last night and have my Monday headache on a Tuesday.
DSXGF is coming round as she has nowhere to stay tonight. DS is *shock/horror* hoovering :eek:
I passed on the YS run tonight though I did look in to see what there was but don't feel up to it tonight. I did tip off a lady that was filling her basket with sandwiches for her kids to wait another 25 minutes to get them at 90% off so she can have my share :rotfl:
I'm going to eat my pizza, watch EastEnders then hopefully sleepMake £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)

La E sorry your time with family was tough, apologies if I missed your post about problems, hope you're ok and they are resolvable
My list for today:
Not at work :j:j:j
Visit DH Nan and deliver birthday card, will try and get her some flowers or chocolates on the way
Put a load of washing on before we go out so I can peg out later when weather set to be better
Quick tidy round
Meals from stores, take snacks and drink with us when we go out. Do have voucher for free x 2 hot drink and cake, may go and use them if I have time (as it's on the way back) and they expire today
Check banking, final payment has gone in to regular saver :T will be watching eagerly to see when my interest goes in
Check surveys, FPL
Enjoy your day
Evening all. Busy day and spendy one way or another, albeit not always large amounts. Spent £4 in £land inluding a Christmas present and some shampoo and 40 ice pops for freezer. Appreciate I can make them cheaper, but time v cost wins here. Bought 6 rolls and a pack of ham between 3 of us for lunch rather than overpriced readymade sandwiches.
Went for drinks and cake despite not being overly hungry. DD and I shared a scone, bought another home (which I'm eating for supper as it won't last until tomorrow - well that's my story and I'm sticking too it :rotfl:) DD only wanted a glass of water so I bought the hot chocolate away in a takeaway cup and drank it at home
Big expense of the day was £200 'deposit' for two places at afterschool club for smalls which is required for DH new job as we don't have any family nearby and I already take too many liberties at work to stretch it anymorewe'll get £150 of it back when they leave but even so, it's not ideal. Needs must. Actual cost will come from childcare vouchers
Also investigating PPI reclaim. Never thought I would be eligible and maybe I won't, but have read something on here and have nothing to lose asking. Will be going DIY though as if there is anything it will be small.
Hope you get some answers soon la e sending hugs.0
