Hey sugar! I didn't realise you were awake when I was! We could have had a chat lol. Hope you're ok, and not too tired X0

I don't have sugar in my tea or coffee but I do love sweet things and, I'm sure, that's why I've put on so much weight. I really should try to cut it out but the temptation is always there as OH is even worse than I am. If you want to loose a few pounds maybe cutting down on sugar is the way to go. Everything you give to your children seems so healthy compared to what I see children eating.
Free gym pass is great. MY son started going when he came off medication and he's lost three stone just using the treadmill two or three times a week.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0 -
Hope you are ok hidden - that time stamp was about 2 hours before I got up!
I struggle with sugar and have just made myself not buy it, or find sugar free recipies and also do my 'sugar swaps'.
Sounds like you don't need to do any of these things though, you have an iron will!15/5/12 Paid off Mortgage 1 (£220k) Bought Dream House:www: Dec 13 - Mortage 2 -£116,508. 15/7/18 Mortgage Free Again :j

Seems quite a few of us had a lack of sleep last night! Thank you for popping in. Isn't it lonely in the dead of the night? When you're wide awake but can't do much because you have to be quiet
Today is just a pottering day. Cleaning the fridge and making bottom of the fridge soup and filling the tubs up with fresh cut salad and making coleslaw. Living the highlife:rotfl:
I really want to pop to l!dl for pitta bread but I don't think I will. I feel like when I started my diary I was really strict with making do with what we had. Now I seem to be slacking off a bit. I think I need to revisit the budgets and plans and make sure I send as much as possible to the debt rather than leaving money in the bank/purse. Currently have £15 in the bank and £10 in the purse (DS has dinner money in reading bag/youngest nursery money in her bag) I have gas/electric and I've made my payments to the debt. I feel this money will now be filtered out on just top up bits (milk/reduced things/sweets) I don't know if this gets out what I mean :rotfl:

I know what you mean with the money hidden. I had £17 of change at the beginning of the week and it's just disappeared. I know where most of it has gone as ive been keeping track but shows how quickly it can disappear on little things without realising.
Hope you have a lovely day.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Could you make some pitta bread? Or flat bread with plain flour and a frying pan?
I know what you mean, so easy to just nip and and get things. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

You are speaking to someone who could teach master classes in frittering money on nothing sensible. One example. I picked up a cake in Morries yesterday. I am on a diet. What was that about? £2.29! Then, having tasted it, it is of course, much too sweet for us. So do I chuck it? Nope. It's waiting for Son to collect it Tuesday. Meanwhile I bought a packet of walnuts (£1.29) in case I want to bake one! Planet Zog or what!?Save £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I am at £1286.68/£3000 or 42.89% of my annual spend so far

I made flat breads instead of shopping thank you red
Been watching the qualifying! Boo hiss! Not a good day. I can say my weather is better than theirs :rotfl:
No Abba DS is going into year 4 so doesn't get the free meals DD would but she's on pack lunch
I think the money drains on things the kids ask for to be honest. The odd 10p sweets (that turn into 30p/60p because there's 3 of them) Milk/Juice etc all things we don't really need
I was going to send the money in the bank over to the fine 2 and pay it off, but then I don't know if I'll need money for anything work related?
Maybe I should rearrange the budgets to allow £15 a week for these things? Juice/milk etc and take the £15 away from the weekly shop. I'm not sure.
Things are going to be really tight until mid October now so again there won't be room to spend anything other than rent and electric :rotfl: Maybe once I get paid in October and know exactly where things stand it will be easier? From this week on we'll have around £180 a week  Rents £115. Electric/gas/school then the rest to the council tax.
Definitely better than at the start but doesn't leave much to plan and budget for anything else.0 -

You may still be entitled to free school meals based on your income, though. If you look on your local council's website there should be a section about it, with a number you can call as well. With 3 school age children, it's definitely worth looking into.SPC 11, No. 062 DFD November 2020
