Glad you're feeling a bit better today. Must be tempting to pay that last little bit of the fine but don't leave yourself short. It'll be gone very, very soon and it'll be another thing ticked off.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

Goals are good
I have a few I keep of here too
Popped into aldi and spent money on reduced chicken  I don't really need it but there you go! Got some of the super 6 for pack lunches/snacks, melon, more fruit, veg and milk! nearly £13 spent
Been thinking about the lack of coffee. Going to try coffee with no sugar (I already have no milk) I drink tea with no sugar so worth a go! I do miss coffeeI realise this makes me sound ridiculous :rotfl:
Switching diet coke to water has worked and I think the headaches (and being reliant on one too many painkiller) has lifted finally! Touch wood.0 -
Glad you're feeling better Hun. Can you have stevia? It's a natural sweetener, and aldi sell it quite cheaply, I can drink tea without sugar but not coffee! So use that instead. Right I need to get organised for the start of school, any tips? Really struggling, house is a proper tip!0

Oh I might have a look especially if it isn't expensive!
Lists missyLists! :rotfl: Break it down into smaller chunks. The things that HAVE to be done at the top, the extras at the bottom. Set your timer and go go go! 15 mins and break
So pleased the headaches are gone, great progress with everything!
Thank youx

I weaned myself off sugar in my drinks when I was 12, started gradually reducing the amount I had until it was just a few grains. I can't bear sweet drinks now. Same with milk, I used to have barely a teaspoon in my coffee as I didn't like the taste of milk, so stopped having it. Now I just drink black coffee (but only 2/3 cups a day) and herbal tea. If you're worried about the caffeine why not try decaf.
I need to go to Aldi tomorrow to pick up the fruit deals for work snacks. Boo back to work MondayI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
It was more the sugar and milk (rice milk) that I was worried about.. on the waist line :rotfl: This has been backed up by the very noticeable and welcome difference in weight this week to 2 weeks ago! Although I assume this will settle down now.
Looking through my work info we get a free gym pass. Going to take this up and take full advantage as much as I can fit in!
I have an ideal I want to be at. I want to be there for Xmas when I'll have no choice but to see certain family members I don't really like :rotfl:0 -
Hiiiiiiiiden! Just dropping in to wave hi and say how well you're doing! Look at your repayment totals - thats such a great figure! Really pleased to hear you're going to the caravan again soon as I'm sure it'll be a nice break away for you. Keep at it and I look forward to reading on.
p.s. I once cut out sugar for 2 months as an experiment for whether it triggered an occasional medical condition I get. It didn't but I lost half a stone in the process! Sugar is the devil in my opinion, having done some reading into the science behind how the body (i.e. the liver) metabolises it. Robert Lustig is my modern day hero! I'm not precious about excluding it since life is too short but I do keep a eye on sugar content of things. That said, I made chocolate brownies last week and spent all week eating them. Big fail!!You've done super well to cut down sugar and caffeine at the same time! Those headaches must have been a nightmare!! I love coffee and will never quit the three I drink a day as it's my only real vice (ummm.... except for overspending on my credit cards!!) and I love it so
