Powershop are becoming a joke. This marks a new low in terms of special pack discount at 12%.

Solstice Special Pack about 4days Power @ 25% discount.I’m a dual fuel user on the 2020 issue 1 tariff using 15000 kw gas and E7 elec. using Day 1900kw & Night 1650kw and returned to powershop 3 months ago.So far I’ve achieved an average overall discount of 22.7%.To achieve Top Shopper promises l need 24.3% over 12 months.
When I was previously with Powershop I easily beat Top Shopper promised rates thanks to higher discounts offered in winter.0 -
The solstice special gave me a discount of 15%.
No loner satisfied with the lack of discount, time to have a look around at what else is on offer.
Powershop was fun, but entering your reading every 3 - days became a PITA.
If it wasn't for the postings from here I would not be aware of specials as their Facebook page updates don't arrive in my FB news-feed.
I'll report back!

Did you ask to switch to the 2020 issue 1 tariff Mick? You will save money and get bigger discounts.
If you haven’t already download the powershop ap.It sends alerts your mobile when a new power pack is out.0 -
Solstice Saver Special Pack
In my case this has a discount of 16% for equivalent of 4 days worth of electricity.1 -

Another very poor pack, with 15% discount for the equivalent of 4 days worth of electricity.
Got the renewal quote from Powershop today as predicted by tlcgrantham.
Deal is cheaper than what I am currently on but things get interesting when I do a new quote for electricity via the Which? Switch Energy website.
There Powershop appears in top three and I get a quote that beats the email renewal offer from Powershop by nearly £30!! This is down to them using two different tariffs (all values below are VAT inclusive and we're looking at the best topshopper rates). I reran the test via Powershop's own website and get the same result.
Email Offer = Top Shopper Elec 2020 Version 1.
Unit Rate = 13.40p/Kwh.
Daily Charge = 22.554p/day
Which/Powershop website = Top Shopper 2020 Issue 1.
Unit Rate = 12.926 pence per kWh.
Daily Charge = 19.982 pence per day
Chased up Powershop and requested that I get put on the better deal.
This was done with no hassle and already got offered a extra special pack.
What was curious is that I was told I should have been automatically put onto the cheapest deal at renewal.
Leave it to the individual to decide how truthful that statement is.
For sure though, existing users must proactively keep an eye on the tariff they are on - and when they see a cheaper one, you have to push Powershop.
