If they stick by what they (Ofgem) say, we may now see minimal increases of electricity and gas prices annually. They have been gouging us every year to get > 10 % gross profit. People are not getting more money every year (10 % increases in salaries are unheard of). Article makes sense when you take into account what the PPI and CPI are, savings interest rates which are less than 1 % and the very low interest rates on loans. The UK economy is heading for a long term recession.
