In addition to the pack for 2 days power at 27.6% discount I got a second pack as well for 3 days power at 20%. I'm dual fuel user so that may explain the 2 packs.0

Hello everyone!
Just checked the website and see that PS are offering 34% discount for November and 30% for December - they must really want our dosh!0 -
My advice is DO NOT USE THEM.
They don't tell you the rate they are charging you.
In terms of customer service they ae a joke.
As an Energy Supplier, they don't know their *rse from their Elbow!
I was a customer 2 Gas suppliers ago and was more than happy to switch away from them...
Almost, but not quite, as bad as Extra Energy....
Need I say any more?
My gas is currently supplied by UP.0 -
Why are you posting in the Powershop thread about Daligas?0
-
Because someone listed it as an option to switch to.
My advice is "Don't waste your time".0 -
Hi mick are the two rates you mention the future pack prices for November and December if so what quantity of electricity are they offering. I didn't realise you were still a powershop customer. I'm no longer with them so can't see any offers0
-
Yes they are, the future packs up to November are only offering 14%.
...and Yes I'm still with PS as a customer - perhaps I've lulled myself into a sense of believing they are still the cheapest...
They claim I have "saved" £505 in the past 12 months and I'm still running a ridiculous balance of £350.
Time for me to request a refund of the low discounts (<14%) and purchase future packs with discount of >13%!0 -
They probably aren't the cheapest for yourself nowadays. Barely scrape into the top twenty for me now sadly. I'm now with no frills supplier symbio. Few problems at beginning but they seem to have settled down. Yorkshire energy also have a tariff far cheaper than powershop. You should definately cash in some of those lower discount packs. £350 is a year's worth of electricity for me. Powershop are very good at refunding when you ask them too. I couldn't fault their customer services. Its just a shame their prices have rocketed. They seem to load the discounts for the winter months.0

Just rechecked powershops rankings on my comparison site of choice (energyhelpline). Duel fuel they rank 21st and electricity only 25th done £63 more expensive than my current tariff with symbio. Those tariffs are both top shopper prices too so assume you are getting maximum discount from powerpacks. Of course you may better the top shopper price if discounts increase but my experience suggests it can only be bettered in your first year0

Funnily enough I also did an energyhelpline comparison last night and was surprised how low down the rankings Powershop is nowadays. You'd think more customers would start leaving soon given the poor value PS now offers. I assumed that PS customers were of a higher awareness than an average consumer and so would be alert to poor value tariff developments.
I suppose it's a bit like the frog in the pan of water - price rises by stealth via the restriction of decent discounts.0
