Missing you! I hope the news story hasn't been a problem? Ditto Friday's meeting.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

News story still hasn’t happened but continues to hang over us. To be honest, I’ve realised that this diary is just a total whingefest. While it’s great that I have somewhere to offload, it’s not what people need when dealing with their own stuff. Last month I did a third fewer hours at the client than in March but I am still letting it take over my life. From the start of July, trustees are coming out of shielding so I’m not going to remain available 247. They need to engage.I need to develop a plan for me. I think this may involve my engagement of outside assistance.Today I am attempting to get paycheques signed. That’ll be fun. I will also get invoices processed and signed. I just need to get going.

Feel feel free to offload - if people don’t want to read they don’t need to. If it helps you by posting - don’t stop. It’s far from a whinge fest - just saying it as it is and you always finish with your lovely positive thoughts. I think a plan for you sounds just what you need.January spends - £587.589

paycheques are signed as are those to pay invoices. Got home shortly before nine with these. Was thinking of going back and getting the circulation started but was too tired. Talked through a few matters with our Chair. Today I will tackle one major issue head on. I have had enough of an attitude that makes me struggle to go to work. It’s also impacting other staff who won’t make a formal complaint due to fear of retribution. It took an external person to witness this and query me letting it go for me to realise my responsibility in this area. I just need to pull on the big girl pants and remember that I am supported.Included in the cheques that were signed is one for me so I will lodge that over the next few days.I got the good news yesterday that my cleaning service are back from 04 July. It’s just three hours a fortnight but it makes all the difference as it prompts us to get on top of tidying. I have also arranged for the bathroom to be visited on Sunday to come up with ideas. I’ve just realised how weird a sentence that is!
right I have a client call booked for nine and am picking up the relief chef after that.

I really hope you manage to get things sorted out today INOD. Something like that constantly hanging over you must cause enormous stress for all the staff that have to deal with it.Glad to hear you're getting your cleaner back, it must make life so much easier.

I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy6 -
Another one who read what you said, and thought 'but its your diary, vent if makes you feel better'. I write for me, not for the entertainment of others but I try to write positive or I bring myself down.

It's not a whinge fest. And sometimes just getting things written down can help make things seem better or clarify thoughts. That's how I use my diary.

I hope the 'issue' was successfully addressed and didn't attempt to deny something that's obvious to others. And I hope you are okay having had that to get through.
Getting your cleaner back must feel like a big step on the road back to normality.

Well, the conversation did not happen for a variety of reasons. Hopefully today is the day. Delaying it isn’t fair for anybody. I dealt with another client yesterday and progress has been made. I got given enough dinner for me and dh which is always a plus. Other than client crises, my life is boring. Oh, I have arranged for the bathroom to be scoped out on Sunday afternoon. So this weekend will demand activity and structure. I need to get that underway by list making before getting the chef.
