Sorry I've been awol from your diary for a bit INOD. You would have felt bad if you hadn't put effort into your mum's birthday and hopefully on some level she enjoyed and appreciated it.
I hope work becomes less stressful for you at some point. I think making the garden a calming sanctuary to spend time is a lovely idea and could really de-stress you. Any news on finding a proper gardener? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Weather like the middle of winter here- ok slight exaggeration but it feels like it after the heat earlier this week.
A lazy day in PJs sounds ideal.👍January spends - £587.586 -
Well I did my lazy day times ten. DH provided all meals and my only contribution was to tidy and clean kitchen including cooker and provide feedback as I forced him to kondo his shirts and suits plus identify stuff to go to dry cleaners. We have a massive amount of stuff for cleaners along with duvets to be laundered that won’t fit in our machine. I’m hoping to hold off until after the 15th of next month as my credit card bill this month will be astronomical as it includes this year’s rates bill. The money is set aside for this but there is a psychological thing about such a large cc bill again. That said, it did not stop me buying a needed pair of shoes along with a not needed but highly desirable handbag on line yesterday. It’s a brand I love in a fabric and a colour I love and it was less than half price but I know I probably shouldn’t have.
on other news, I got a thank you call from the relatives for who I bought the hotel voucher. They appear chuffed and I hope they make use of it.I’m taxiing the chef today so need to get moving.

Handbags are an investment 🥰Sealed pot challenge 822

I love handbags.
I found one in yesterday's clear out that I had never used (well ok 3) but I am looking forward to it being my September bagAnd I have two summer holiday bags.
Hope work has settled down and you are ok. XXXNevertheless she persisted.6 -
Handbags are my absolute weakness. It generally doesn’t matter what size you are to carry a bag. DH tells the story about our first trip to ny together and we went to an outlet village. He followed me into a handbag shop where I was surrounded by four bags and when he asked which one I was going for, was greeted with a look of horror. I did sell a few to keep the wolf from the door in early days of self employment.Progress was made yesterday work wise. Today we are having our first actual management committee meeting off site where there is plenty of space. Before that, I have involvement in a disciplinary which cost some sleep last night. I am tired but this is just something that needs dealt with then we can move on.
some money will be spent today on parcel postage to send home made items to the offspring but I will get cash back which is good.
