I’m so pleased to read that your DD has had good news. What a relief that must be for you both.

thanks everyone, it means we can now move out of the virtual holding circle that we inhabited. While no one admitted to holding their breath, no one was embracing future plans. There was no weigh in last week as I had a London weekend funded by and spent with the offspring. Although excessively hot, it was enjoyable and dh, who was at his parents, joined us for one of the planned activities.
Today I did my weigh-in but while a slight downward trajectory, there was no shift in the number of pounds. I remain within the travel zone!
Over the past 2 weeks and, in part inspired by @Blackcats, I have had a few break through moments. They need to be further teased out and may give rise to a new diary so please watch this space, I am so grateful for the cheerleading and challenge that I receive here.I have a client meeting today for an hour, which is unusual for a Sunday but should be interesting. I need to do some research in advance and respectabilise myself.
Today I am grateful for
Optimism/ contentment
Finding the right home for some items
A sustained friendship

Break through moments and a new diary sound great. Your grateful list is really positive too 😊

well, I'm feeling very pleased to know that I might have been of some assistance in your musings. You are right that these diaries are wonderful for help, support, inspiration and good ideas. I was going to stop keeping a diary but I found I missed it and I'm really enjoying writing my new diary.
Optimism and contentment are two amazing feelings!
