so 2 more items despatched and £80 gained. There was also a local artisan fair where £5 was spent on breads, half of which have been eaten. We did a grocery shop as we were low on bread, milk etc and got some store cupboard items on multi buys. As recommended by someone on here, I am keeping an eye on replenishing stocks as they may soon be impacted by higher transport costs. Dinner made use of leftovers for DH and dd and I just ate from a store cupboard items on. Yesterday I forced dh to sit down and work out where our treat pot is sitting. Turns out it is in the plus but will need another £2.5k between now and October to cover holiday costs. Spending money will come from anything else we can save plus money normally spent while at home. There should be £900 to come in annual interest from an isa plus any sales that we can make. Fingers crossed Ernie smiles on dh as his winnings go for treats while mine go to everyday spends pot.
I’ve a teams at ten so I’d better get prepped. Today I am grateful forA 20% off deal on an item I was actively looking for

this week has been a bit full on, not least because I knew I was getting a filling on Wednesday afternoon so petrified me couldn’t really settle to anything that day. I spent the morning with a friendly ex in-law and we had a catch up. Four items also exited the house. I walked to the dentist in the afternoon. It’s not far and I was too agitated to trust my parking. I’m so grateful for my continuing nhs dentist as I had change from £23 for a white filling in the second from centre tooth. The downside is that the next appointment available for work is in November.
I’ve been dipping in and out of work but need to up the pace over the next few days. That said, I’m heading to the shops before lunch today as there are more fuel protests planned for later today.today I am grateful for
a finally scheduled catch up with a friend
Possibility of a further contract with a client

That’s a bargain for your tooth. I hate my silver colour filling with an absolute passion.

That's great value for the tooth and well done for getting it over and done with. I've been on the NHS dentist's waiting list several years and my private dentist, although excellent, charges £100 for a check-up plus two x-rays.
How lovely that you can be on good terms with ex-in-laws.

the travelling 2 lbs have returned from their holidays. At least it’s a sunny return for them. Little else is happening bar the opportunity to spread some pixie dust as the sister of young relative is fundraising for that condition specific charity. Hopefully it’ll also help her to feel that there’s something she can do.
apart from all that, little has been happening although mil has been caught out manipulating things again. I despair. Anyhow dh is currently cooking up bacon sarnies to be eaten while hot.Today i am grateful for
A friend’s continuing pregnancy
