Hope everything went well at the meeting and things can now move forward. ((hugs))
I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy6 -
I wish I could report significant progress. There are a few babysteps that add to a to do list. I am also left wondering if there is a point to it all. I than came home to news that a neighbour has had two strokes and has multiple staples in his neck. I’m not sure why but I was shell shocked. He’s the kind of person I expect to go forever. His poor wife seems to have aged overnight. They were talking about a full recovery being likely but he’s a self employed builder. I wonder if he can safely ever get back to what was before.Today I have things to get done. I am catching up with a friend for an hour this evening and am looking forward to that. I have a dilemma that I’m wrestling with. It’ll come down to the price of principles. I’m lucky that there’s a bit of a buffer to keep business ticking over.

Interesting attachment and all true.I hope your neighbour makes a good recovery and is able to get as close to his old life as is possible. It puts life into perspective when something like that happens. Time to take stock and do what is important to us.January spends - £587.587

I've bookmarked those sayings you linked to: lots of useful words in a small space thanks!
Your poor neighbour. What a shock. I hope there's improvement soon and he can get back to work eventually.

This morning I have to deliver an online training session. I have never done this before without the client setting it all up. I have booked dh to do a trial half an hour earlier. Yes it should have been yesterday but I didn’t get in until after eight so didn’t finish writing it until around eleven. I wish everyone else was as text based as I. I can script the most boring lines of texts but can’t even understand how or why pictures should be used.I really need to shop for proper food. Yesterday two meals were bread based and I had a bowl of cereal for dinner. This is too carb based and too lacking in nutrients.Another mortgage and savings payment should go out today which is good. Our local market re opens today. Hopefully there will be enough business to sustain the small traders. Right, gotta scoot.

How did your session go? When I homeschooled I was sent some info on learning styles by a teacher friend and it was very interesting to discover how different my daughter's learning style is from mine. It really made a difference to incorporate things suitable for a variety of learning styles into our work. I'm used to learning from books but actually I find I learn better if my hands are busy, for instance. The strangeness of folks.
So I suppose I'm saying it's worth doing the pictures / adding activities / encouraging people to move around the room physically etc even if it doesn't work for you.
My employer has taken to do training via webinars and I found them surprisingly good. I've even taken screen shots of some slides so I can refer back to new material where I feel I'm not on familiar ground.
I had a baking day yesterday and grabbed a tin of macaroni cheese for my evening meal so I'm also over-carbed. DH has gone food shopping and I forgot to ask him to get fruit... do you have a 'proper' shop in the diary? We are getting haphazard over ours.
I hope your day's going well.
