I know beanie and to cap it all, the parcel hasn't been returned and now we are into bank holiday weekend with no post until Wednesday so we can’t resend it. I continue to seethe. I went in yesterday to find two staff out of four on a particular duty had called in. Turned out I was able to give the chef a lift home at six!Dinner was from my m&s shop on Thursday and was eaten before settling down to watch casualty. Don’t I know how to party! For me, the casualty viewing is indicating a return to normal which I am so grateful for. Right, given I was on sight for a full day yesterday, the admin didn’t happen so want to start before we head off. The hotel we are staying at has only 8 bedrooms and dining room is currently residents only so I reckon it’s as safe as we can be.Today I am grateful for

Thanks so much for mentioning turtle doves, INOD - only yesterday I was wondering what to do with a cashmere jumper with a moth hole right in the middle of the front! Went to investigate after seeing your post and it seems perfect. I love fingerless gloves!Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

AK, the wee gloves are lovely but equally it meant something left the house. I struggle to part with cashmere and will wear holey items around the house but I think there are at least 3 more cardigans to go. I suppose the only plus of being big is that my cardis still have enough unholed bits to make at least 2 pairs which is the requirement.
well, we were completely indulged on our night away though the room was a bit too warm for us. The bathroom did however convince dh that we will not be penny pinching when we redo ours. We had an afternoon tea yesterday that was the best I have ever had and had two takeaway containers of the sweet things to bring home. The four legged one has been restored to us and celebrated by being sick on the quarter of the Wooden living room floor that is covered by a rug. Typical but she’s in good spirits this morning. Right, despite the bank holiday, I need to head to the client.

That sounds like a great break.
I didn't register that you're planning to have your bathroom redone, but that's something else nice to look forward to (when the hassle side of it is over).

I would happily report back if I could.i had a bit of a meltdown at the weekend not just about money but about life in general. When I calmed down, he decided that we needed a list and a plan. I handed him the pen and paper! Little to no progress has been made despite me following up once. When I tried to articulate what was in my mind, he laughingly commented that we needed a bigger piece of paper.
i am not prepared to take responsibility for it all on my own.
