Nice to have part one of the money talk out of the way. Timely, with the pay rise coming in.
Well done on the 10p win - got any plans to spend it?

Things are ok, thanks to all for checking in. My life tends to alternate between boring, depressing and infuriating and it doesn’t feel right to inflict this on others. DD was home for the weekend and did the most recent vet run. All is as ok with an aging dog as it can be. She’s in generally good spirits but has gone into DD’s bedroom a few times since dd went back. She is also taking a shorter walk but that’s due to the heat.DD is in good spirits and ran between friends like a dervish. We also went out for dinner and it’s not an experience I’ll be looking to repeat. We had had a takeaway from this restaurant during lockdown and they were all over what was needed down to exiting via fire escape to maintain a one way system. They are far from as good for eating in.On Tuesday I found out that 4 people had tested positive for COVID who work in a building where I had attended a meeting last Friday and where our service users regularly attend. I raised the question with this statutory body and after 5 hours was advised that if we needed to be tested, we could be contacted by public health. No timescales, etc but the people I was meeting are back working from home. They just don’t care.
right, this whingefest needs to end. Today I am grateful for
