Don't beat yourself up about the admin person. It's so easy to go in and make loads of progress on a task when it's the only thing you are concentrating on. You are busy juggling so many different tasks and responsibilities it's hard to make significant progress. At least with the admin support that's one small weight off your shoulders.
Well done on the signature update as well, that's a great result in a relatively short period of time!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
Your updated figures are looking good 👍January spends - £587.584

I have no idea how but my weekly conversation with mr wii showed a 2lb weight loss. That’s in spite of taste testing the disappointing Percy pig ice cream last night.Things got ridiculously busy work wise last night with calls and emails flying around from half three until around nine. It beggared belief.Despite being low on milk, we managed to avoid leaving the house. I did however make use of my refunded house of Fraser voucher and placed an order taking advantage of their 20% off outlet sale. Once again roughly £5 had to be added to it but I’m happy with what I bought. This includes a new all seasons duvet for our bed at less than half price. The voucher was a Christmas present for me and I can see no better purpose than a good night’s sleep. I was also able to obtain two reusable face masks for £3.20 which I was pleasantly surprised by. In addition I picked up future presents that were all seriously discounted.
there is a lot to get done work wise and home wise. I miss my cleaning service. It’s three hours a fortnight but makes all the difference. I’m hoping that they will start back when things ease. Apart from anything else, the dog loves them.
right, if I don’t move, today could easily end up being a day spent in bed.Today I am grateful for

I’m not sure how that happened but I am happy with that.Yesterday I made scones that worked well. I also finished rereading a book. I know I should have done a lot more but I didn’t.I managed my sb daily target and did a small prolific that was approved overnight to bring me to just over £20 so I cashed out this morning.
i only had three client emails plus two calls. DD got to FaceTime the dog who was just in from a walk and having her dinner so a happy dog.
today will be a busy day as I got advised of a tomorrow deadline just after five on Friday. I also have the other usual stuff to be dealt with. I need to get going and to stop hiding in diaryland.
today I am grateful for
the scones working (I know this is one of the most straightforward things to cook but I don’t trust myself to get anything right)
dd being assured by sight of her dog

beanie the recipe is https://www.avoca.com/eshop/cms/action/view/contentId/650115/
More complicated than a standard recipe but lovely. I added the sultanas and made use of my stand mixer instead of my hands as I’ve a few arthritic finger tips.
yesterday I got done what was needed and a client who had reduced staff paid an invoice outstanding from March. I have others to issue.Yesterday by driving on fumes, I had a nsd. Am I the only one who hates having to fill the car at present? I would willingly pay a premium to have attended pumps where only a properly protected staff member touches the pumps.
yesterday there was once again a miscommunication at the client. I’m not a big believer in coincidence. I believe someone is deliberately trying to undermine me.Right, I have lots to do today so best get going.
today I am grateful for

meeting a deadline

Yay for weight loss and a happy dog.
I so regret not having got my act together to get a dog before lockdown...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
