No post yesterday as I had to be at a different client early on. Delivered socially distant training which worked as there were only four. Did another wee job while I was there and sorted out something there are doing for the main client. It’s so good when you can keep funding in the charity sector.I then did my first real supermarket shop since lockdown and was completely appalled by the staff, including ones wearing social distancing tee shirts, huddled together for chats, walking the wrong direction in the one way system etc and generally restricting customers’ ability to shop safely. I also spent over £80 with little to show bar some half price moisturiser. The laptop remained switched off for the rest of the day because I’m now recognising that it’s not productive. The fridge got a good clean then I feel asleep in front of the tv. I hadn’t realised how tired I was but managed to sleep through the skip being collected from directly outside the room I was in.
right, I have decided that I need to operate more productively so I am off to make a list.

Two broken nights in a row. I hate disturbed sleep. It almost guarantees a grumpy day. However, one of my problem staff members is off today which will help. Unfortunately I need to speak to another staff member about a lack of output and today may not be ideal for that. Tonight I will bathe, spray my pillow and hope for the best.
yesterday I managed to do banking for me and for the client. It also cleared some room on my desk as it included bags of coins. There is a big problem in my life right now. I cannot commit it to screen other than to say that it is not related to anyone’s healt. it is tearIng me apart and I don’t know what to do. Like so many others at this time, I feel totally adrift. I wonder if there will ever be a new normal or if we will all have been changed too much by what has happened.

I'm sorry to hear there is yet another problem besetting you INOD. Extra hard because of the problems of lockdown. Is there anyone in real life that you can trust with it? Maybe a video call might help?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

thanks for the suggestions but, like many on here, I find it hard to say things as they are to real life people especially when not in their company. I’m hoping that I’m blowing things out of proportion just by being generally worn down and worn out.Today I have an enforced break from the client as I have a really bad pain in my left arm. It started yesterday morning and got worse but the application of deep heat seems to be helping. I just don’t trust myself to change gears, put the handbrake on etc. Staff will be happy. I’m about to let them know that I’ll be working from home.Right, need to get started. Today I am grateful for

Will echo DD, but I think you can count it a point in your favour that certain staff members are out of their comfort zone when you're around.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Rest and pain relief was the way to go and I was back in on Friday. Which was just as well as I became aware of a serious matter that no one had told me about. These are people who will contact me when the tv isn’t working but not when an ambulance is needed. Sometimes I despair.
i have made a few decisions to make life easier for myself at this client. I need to get these approved today and it needs to happen now.Regarding the non work matter. There has been discussions and there may be a way through. I’m hopeful but trying to not be too optimistic.I have decided that money needs to be spent on my home. Life’s too short to make do when the money can be accessed. Don’t worry, I’m not robbing next year’s tax bill. I will be somewhat reducing a comfort blanket and could be more sensibly putting the money into a pension pot but hey, I could be dead by then. I’m fed up with putting limitations on myself out of fear. I’m also worried that I’m trying to spend my way to happiness which, let’s be honest, most people on here have done at one time or another. Yesterday another few things were decluttered. Nothing major but it all helps.Today I need to make inroads on a few fronts so will get going.
