So more time than expected was spent at the client on Saturday. I also fitted in some other client work in between visits. Yesterday was a complete do nothing day. The upside was that no money was spent. The downside was that mr wii showed a three pound weight gain over two weeks. I know I have been Comfort eating too much junk.DH spent the weekend doing work for me that I can invoice for but it meant that bar watching the amazing killing eve, we had little time. Furry face wandered between us and continues to benefit from her supplements.
right, I need to go and see if I can track down another cheque signatory.
today I am grateful for
an uninterrupted day

the good News is that paycheques got signed. The even better news is that so did a cheque for me. The bad news is that NI has been put into a kind of halfway lockdown place which means that we will no longer be able to limit outside time thereby increasing the risk to all staff and service users. As usual, no guidance has been issued so it’ll be a case of making it up as I go along.
today there is a majorly big frog that cannot be avoided along with expected payroll queries that will have arisen due to a communication with payslips. This will adversely impact five staff immediately but others are fine with it. I also need to tackle a staff member employed for 4 hours a day who delivered less than one hour’s work yesterday. She also believes that government guidelines don’t go far enough and therefore wants to opt out of certain elements of her job.Other good news is that the gardener has advised that he will be here Thursday and Friday and that a skip will be delivered on Thursday morning. With garden centres reopening yesterday over here, we may actually get a start made on a nice outdoor space. Despite both children being well into their thirties, our garden has never quite recovered from the trampoline, swing, climbing frame, swing ball, etc.
right, need to go and face the day despite wanting to hide under the covers. Today I am grateful for
payroll being sorted for another month
some positive feedback from staff

I'm glad you got paid.
And well done on your win!
I agree about the easing of restrictions being a difficult area. I think a lot of people (me included) feel it's best to carry on as if we were still on full lockdown, but of course when there's an element of communal living, it's a nightmare.

Fingers crossed that’s the worst of the frogs over and done with. Just need to start a plan for normality. First thing today is I’m off to pick up food supplies fOr the next week or so. Then I will face the client. Right, there’s the plan.
