I totally agree. I only sent the original message because I believed in the circumstances it was sufficient. She doesn't really do speaking either. She even messaged hubby again after he had had the argument with his parents, instead of phoning.

Under most circumstances, I would talk. I have never had this kind of situation before but yes, it is good to talk.
