Lane 1 was closed and the the officer states that was stationed on the hard shoulder, in plain sight. I didn't see that car there.
Yes, it seemed odd being the only one driving on that lane but I didn't noticed the red X. I was coming from a slip road that merges with M1 just before the gantry that the officer says she was watching..

I asked Highways England for those records , they have a database named HALOGEN but they seem not to understand my requests, you need to ask them a few times before getting a good answer. Probably proffesional courtesy between them and the police.

I am not 100% convinced about my guilt but I don't have any evidence I and someone swears seeing me driving under the red X. Probably I did, slowly driving c!ose to a lory that was limiting my visual field I switched on the left lane somewhere near or under the gantry. After all the incident was behind me and the exit I needed to use was 1/2 mile down the road.

I'm confused. You said the lane was empty. How did a lorry block your view ahead when the lane was empty?

I think you're wasting your time. The OP's story changes or develops in response to the questions posed. It's a bit of "kraken" behaviour. Next Marbo will be telling us there was a second lorry...

... or that the whole incident was hypothetical.
