Not bad I thought seeing as the last woman a month or so back said that as my bills were so low I couldn't get any top end phones. .

Got through and was put through to upgrades.
Said to the guy I could go the run around route and cancel and get retentions ringing me. I explained the deal on my other number recently upgraded and advised to go straight to the chase.
He said he was retentions taking excess calls

Came out with an 18 month contract and was only feeling the ground:-

I've just been told I can have my PUC code (so wait to see if it materialises) - was offered Samsung Steel, 100 mins, 50 texts, £10 per month, but with an 18 month contract. I'd take it if I was offered a 12 month contract ... but don't want to be committed for that long. :rolleyes:

Does anyone know if Vodafone will match free gift offers from other retailers for existing customers wanting to renew there contract directly with Vodafone?

That looks like a decent deal. If I could get something similar when I request my PAC in a few days with maybe a few more texts and the N96 I think I'll go for that.

If I could get anything near that you won't be the only one falling off your chair. Was this offered to a customer who was paying a fair wad of cash each month or just a standard (if there is one) kind of price?

Hi John. I remember you from the N95 deal thread around 18 months ago now. I'm hoping to get a deal as good as that!

Seems along time now from the N95 deal. That was for my son The best i could do this time was Tocco 600mins unlimited texts V passport unlimited internet £25. If I tried I may have got better but my lad wanted the phone so I went with that

Thanks John that does - nice deal - is that for a 12 or 18 month contract? As you've guessed, I don't really want to leave them - just need a better deal!

12 month. get the phone unlocked at about 6mths then re-nego at 10mth.
How i worked it.
Get a sim only deal make sure they give you 50% off or extra. After a week ring back and explain your old phone is no good and keeps freezing( Mine did) Then say you want to cancel under the 14 day rule. They then try to keep you and you will get offers on a phone!
