I have been offered the following upgrade by Phones4u

    900 mins
    500 texts
    unlimited landline calls
    Blackberry Storm

    £45 pm

This is the same as any new customer. Can I push for a better deal from P4U or should i contact Voda directly? Anyone have experience of upgrading with P4U?
  • Woo hoo just done my upgrade.

I got 600 mins, unlimited texts and a Sony Ericson C902 on a 12 month contract for £20 a month and I'm quite happy.

I also got 600 mins and unlimited texts sim only (upgrade) for £12.50. No where else was able to match this.

To think I was told Vodaphone were rubbish at upgrades and I had no chance of another 12 month contract with them.

They are compared to CPW O2.

I've got 600mins 1000txts plus free bolt on (unlimited calls at weekends.) for £30 for 18 months - cashback deal mind you but not a probem at all.

just £30 over the whole of the 18 months is just fine!

Over the last 3-4 days I have been enable to get in touch with their customer services. Anyone else has experience serious lengthly wait on the phone. How long is your average wait on the phone before being able to speak to someone?

    I took the C905 on £35 a month with
    600 mins
    Unlimited Texts
    Unlimited Web Browsing.

I said I was cancelling due to the fact they werent gonna give me unlimited texts when I was on 200 mins and 500 Texts and Unlimited Web at 34.50 a month. They originally said they didnt have the funding to give me it so I phoned up for PAC code and they phoned me up the next day saying we can give you the unlimited texts. I need the unlimited texts now because I have been texting a lot more frequenty recently.
Had £80,000 in Savings - All GONE!!! BYE BYE

Honestly, what is going on with Vodafone retentions?! If your happy with that deal then that's the main thing but that's just a standard tariff anyone can get from their website and a far worse deal than telephone new connections can offer:
    http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/shop/price-plans/18-months-600-mins-Unlimited-texts-35?dependantSkuIds=sku300169

Sounds to me like it's time people just wound down their contracts and started again with half price contracts from the telesales department...

My lads tried the Sony C905 and hates it, what he really wants is the Nokia N85 which Voda don't do. Anyone know how successful upgrading in either P4U or Carphone warehouse is ? I know that they can do the 85 on Voda ???

    Thanks...

I have been unsuccessful at getting someone on the phone via 191. However I managed a response straight away by using the 0870 number. I had no problem renewing my current deal 12month contract @ £15pm: 250min+50text+50% free+STC+passport with a 12month 50% discount.

    All is good for me.
