got told they couldn't do it, it'd be breaking business rules, as it's meant to be £35, half price is £17.50

  • Currently have two vodaphone contracts due to end 6th December 2008 and gave my 30 days notice accordingly.

I've been offered twice 600mins and unlimited texts sim only on a 12 month contract for £12.50.

Or if I take a Nokia 6300 it jumps up to £20 a month, but can't for the life of me now I'm typing this remember if that was a 12 or 18 month contract.

Think I will be going for the deal, but I'm so tempted with the current orange offer on quidco.

My contract is due early December. I made a call for the PAC yesterday where they offered me some deals which I felt tempted but thought I probably could have got a better deal if I'd hold on, so I asked them to process with PAC anyway. Today got a call from 08080000133 by another person asking why I leave, I said I could have good cashback with Orange, the person didn't try to offer me anything though just tell me if I change my mind then call them back, and that PAC would be with me in the next few days. No mention of the number to call either. It was brief and sounded like a procedural call.

I am on 35 pounds tariff at the moment but haven't gone over inclusive minutes in the past 3 months. Should I expect another call in the next few days? When PAC has been issued, does it mean they don't want you and won't call you anymore?
  • New Blackberry Storm out today, anyone been offered any retention deals for this phone? What deals?

Only problem is most peoples fair upgrade is a rediculously good deal which the mobile company is making hardly any (or any at all) profit on.

Being a fan of the financial market these companies pump so much money into our econemy we as a country could not afford it if these companies operated in that manner.

i think mobile companies make more than enough profit, they wouldn't offer the deal if they were making a loss or no profit, thats not how these companies work.
