just rang them up again. not giving us any deal whatsoever. can get the tocco on the 600 minutes unlimited texts and internet for £35 free but they want me to go on a 24 month contract to get the phone free, but if i go on an 18 month contract on the same tariff its £90 for the phone.
Think im just gonna cancel in a month. cant be doing with them. not deven trying to keep us so it looks like there quite abit of money lost for them.0 -
we arent getting through to retentions as they never seem to ring till a few weeks after. and even then they offer the same deal. rather annoying. Probably because we have over a month left on our contracts they dont want to do anything.0

Right, I thought it was retentions you were getting nowhere with. They really are the only people worth speaking to and until you've heard their final offer I wouldn't be concerned.0

but they keep ringing the wrong number as i cant do anything because its coming out of my sisters account and they always tell me she has to ring back but never give a number. so when we ring back we are at square one and have to try again.

also before accepting a lengthy contact with high line rental consider the prices of these SIM only deals you can get on the Vodafone site
http://shop.vodafone.co.uk/mobile-phones/sim-only/pay-monthly/
plus you can get £90 with quidco to put towards a new phone (after 4 months).
Maybe mention the above to help you bargin with the retentions dept. to get a cheap line rental deal + a phone, this is what i intend on doing in the next few days (asking for PAC tomorrow)0 -
anyone get the HTC Touch Pro?
I got offered the Omnia for £30 a month 500 mins 500 txt 12 months. Told her I could do better and for her to call back tomorrow once she has re-thought a better deal.0 -
My ex had recently cancelled her vodafone contract and gone for a samsung omnia on orange. £40 p/m
She is a very heavy phone user and bills vary from £70-500 (holidays)per month. Vodafone have called her but she was busy.
What sort of deal you think she might get? Shes been with them for over 4 years.0 -
You could do temporary a transfer of ownership to you so that you can deal with the matter. Or maybe she could name you on her account as being authorised to speak for her (I've done this with my dad).but they keep ringing the wrong number as i cant do anything because its coming out of my sisters account and they always tell me she has to ring back but never give a number. so when we ring back we are at square one and have to try again.0 -
I have just accepted, from retentions.
A 902
600mins
ulimited txts
unlimited internet
£25 a month for 18 months
They offered me the same package for £35 first and then £30 a day later, and two days later they asked me what would it take to stay so I asked for the package above and they agreed, maybe I should have asked for it for £20, but I think i have done ok.0
