  • The omnia is an expensive phone now so i guess you won't get any amazing deals through inbound retentions. Let them ring you, and they might offer something better.
  • my retentions deal i signed upto is

    12.50 per month
    12 month contract
    600 x network mins
    unlimited texts
    unlimited internet on phone

no new phone but am happy as got lg viewty and no other fones out am interested in
  • fao jimgee,

I've also pm'd you, but after reading the last couple of pages on the retentions deals you have given great advice.

    My current deal is

    200mins anytime
    250 txts
    vodaphone passport
    stop the clock
    mobile internet

    At about £35 pm.

I've just phone 191 and got put through to 'thinking of leaving' after a bit of haggling they offered me.

    A free sony erricson k850i or c702
    200mins anytime
    250 texts
    vodaphone passport
    stop the clock
mobile internet 1 month free but £7.50 after that

All for £16.50 pm on a 12month contract.

I was trying to get the sony erricson c902 (any good?)

I have declined and asked for my pac code hoping for them to ring me back.

Was this a good deal? If so which phone should I choose and would they honour that deal if I phoned them back?

    Thanks Ian.

Seems really quite poor compared to others on the last few pages, worth a look, I am sure they will call and offer you something far better.
  • With 5 days to go I have been offered Jack Diddley Dee:rolleyes: No phone calls, so I went onto their eforum, they got bck to me through email. Finally today they offerd me the same tariffs as new customers:mad: . They won't budge on price at all, said to let them know in 24 hrs, or go to O2.

Stuck now, are O2 any good, will thier sales team be flexible on new contracts or wil I just be offered whats in store or internet?

  • Hi all, I've just had the 08080000133 retensions give me a call and this is what they've offered me

    A free sony erricson c902
    200mins anytime
    250 texts
    vodaphone passport
    stop the clock
mobile internet 1 month free but £7.50 after that

All for £15 pm on a 12month contract.

I tried haggling but she told me that because of the price of the phone she couldn't go only lower so I've excepted.
  • So, I have had another phone call and accepted their offer. It (in my opinion) isn't that good, but with only the weekend before my conract expires, and no other deals I took it. Basically what newbies get but reduced to £30 per month.
    N95 8Gb
    18 month deal
    600 mins
    Unlimited txts
    Unlimited email/internet
Did phone O2 to see if they would consider beating it if I signed wiv them, they were having none of it.

If they don't come down on price it is always worth haggleing for extras. About 6 months ago when I renewed our contract for 6 phones for the family, finally got through to the retentions and after a few days of haggling (they kept ringing me back to negotiate further) got 6 new top spec phones, each on 500 mins 100 text, 12 month contract for £12.50 per month each. When they said they couldn't go any lower on price (the origonal price was £30 per month) I asked them for some freebies and they threw in a few blue tooth headsets for free.
  • Hi people.

Today I phoned Vodaphone inquiring about a rather large bill I received through the post and at the end of the conversation I asked the assistant if I could have my PAC code because I believed I could find a better deal elsewhere.

I then was put through to another department that delt with PAC codes which then I explained to another person why I wanted it. He then offered me this deal.

    New Samsung steel mobile.
    12 month contract.
    600 free mins
    unlimited txts.

    All for £22.00

I told the guy that I wanted to think about it for a couple of hours and he said he would call back. Well, I had a look at the steel model and wasn't that impressed.

He did call back and I explained that I would go for the deal if he could change the mobile for the soul model. He said No way, cant be done, I'll send you the PAC code.

Now I don't know what to do!! Do you people think they will call back or not? Should've I took the deal he offered?

    Please give me some advice...
    Thanks
